Cards
Hi there!
I don't like it that you can see how many cards every player has. That takes some of the tactical element uf being unsure. Sure, you can always scroll back in the game log, but that's what I would prefer. And for the statistics above the actual game: who needs that? The old way was better.
That is my opinion.
But I do still love the game as such...

Maybe I was wrong. I just assumed that everyone that didn't use an add on that kept a card count did so manually in their head. I never realized that anyone depended on complete chance regarding card redemptions.
Apparently there are those that rely on others not tracking the cards. I guess losing an advantage would seem like a bad thing to those losing it.
It's obviously an improvement to add the card count. The other changes are better as well. I can't see why anyone would think differently there, but who knows?
If people are using an add on to improve their game experience, it's completely logical and most appreciated that the game designers would seek to add the same feature and eliminate the need for add ons.
Other than selfish desire for a continued advantage against the less aware there is no good reason to disapprove of the addition of the card count.
It would help to level the field for those who never bothered to count the cards or use the add on. It will make things more competitive.
Don't forget to spread a little sunshine, and to bring a towel.

it really was unfair that some had it and some didnt, Youd be surpised how many colonels I even told about it. I could actually tell when someone didnt have it, because of their moves occasionally.
but I do have to say, the greasemonkey addon, is easier on the eyes than the official one. I hope at some point, it can be refined, just a tad

I like the new my games page, and I wish the Live Chat was working. But, I also wish I could turn the card counter off, and I always make my own games, so I really don't use the Game Finder…
In heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine... You got your things, and I've got mine.

As someone who only has greasemonkey for about 1/4 of my goes, I love it. In big games I used to post card counts in chat for my own reference, seemed a little silly. Only criticism I have is that the game screen is getting a little cluttered. Perhaps you could take away the display of the feedback score ingame.

Great change, only my tabs for the active and waiting games etc are spread over 3 rows
not important but it doesnt look good...
I dont care much for those new card counters cos i was using greasemonkey, on the other hand something like that i supposed to be in the game. In a RL game you would know how many cards someone else had, no?
Besides that, whether you like it or not
3 cheers for the mods for egular updates

I like it. I keep a set of "installation instructions" on file for easy access and often send them out to people who want the card counter and turn indicator. Only thing I kinda don't like is that with "both" counters now showing on my screen...the one list of players now looks a tad cluttered......how sad....now I hafta look at the other list where the cards are also shown with 2 counters in effect.
Well done mods.
