Mafia Roles Examples?

I plan on modding a game, but dont know what to send to some of the people if i plan on this role, as in The tracker, Watcher and the cop, as in what i would send to the player doing the watching/tracking/investigating.

Player 1 does X action to player 2. Player 3 uses X action on player 1

Watcher and tracker usually doesn't report what actions are actually done. For instance if I am watching player A, then the mod will tell me that players X, Y and Z each visited player A. If I am tracking player A, then the mod tells me that player A visited player X.

Cops have been done a variety of ways. The standard is a result of "Target is not mafia" or "Target is mafia".
Also it could be "Town" vs. "Not Town" or it could be a 3-way split of "Town""3rd Party" "Mafia" or it could be really detailed and give faction: "SK""Mafia""Town""Cult". I have never seen the last one but I have seen all 3 before that.

The final investigative role is the flavor cop (aka thief) which figures out something about the character.

Of course, you can always power up the watchers/trackers so that they report what action was done by whom, but then the mafia had better also be powered up.

Edocsil visited pmchugh last night. (in response to "Track edocsil")

Both pmchugh and edocsil visited sarifguys house last night. (in response to "watch sarifguy")

Edocsil is mafia. (for cop)

Anyways, when it comes to roleblocking someone, it can depend on the mod's discretion. If the roleblocker blocks an investigative role (cop, flavor cop, watcher, tracker) then I would PM the cop and say "You were roleblocked".

If the roleblocker blocks a role with a night action that isn't investigative, some mods will still PM the roleblocked person. That is up to the mod.
