Snapshots are haywire

Post by lynch5762 »

PLACE A CONCISE DESCRIPTION OF THE BUG IN THE SUBJECT LINE!!!
Snapshots are not working in any of my team games.... too many games to list!!

Delete or replace any xxxxxxx with the appropriate information.

Operating System: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Browser: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Scripts/third party programs used: xxxxxxxxxx

If the bug happened in a game/s, do not forget to indicate the game number/s.

Concise description:
  • xxxxxxx

Specifics:
  • xxxxxxx

Snapshots aren't a site function, they are an addon, so this doesn't belong here.

AND

tec805 already started a thread where it belongs.

AND

It probably has to do with the update that just happened.

I proposed a fix in BOB to sherkaner last night, and he agrees it should resolve the problem. I hope when he finishes work (a few hours from now) he will be able to perform the update and sort everything out.

In the future.. it would be nice if these things would be addressed before the release of new features.. Especially for those of us who are in crucial tourney games.. BoB goes a long way.. thanks

In the past, on occasion, we have received some warning. Not so much this time, and no indication that "Fog of War: Yes/No" on the game page would evolve into "Special Gameplay: No/Fog/Trench/Fog Trench". This is what confused BOB. He no longer knew he was in a fog game and that seemed to mess up the handling of snapshots.

Actually, I checked the testsite and saw the way it is now 2 days ago, just didn't consider/see the consequences.
