Vodean's mini-Mafia - Endgame - town wins - 2/5

This will be a classic mafia game, with a slight variation on the set-up.

the rules are as follows:
[spoiler=rules]Below are the rules as often used in Mafia games, borrowed from numerous Moderators.

1. This game is moderated by me (vodean), I am the law. Whatever I say goes. If I make a mistake I’ll do my best to fix it. All roles will be given out randomly.

2. Do not quote any PMs you receive from the Mod. The only thing you may post is your alignment, during the active game. Once the game has concluded, feel free to post the rest of your personal information. You may not post your win condition, how many words are in your role PM, or any other kind of way to get around not quoting PMs.

3. If you forget your role, or you delete it, that is your own fault. I suggest not doing either.

4. All ‘votes’ and ‘unvotes’ must be in bold. If they are not, they will not be tallied. (I.E. Vote: Guybrush Threepwood) If you vote two or more times consecutively without an unvote in between them, then the first vote will be the one that gets tallied.

5. Lynching requires a majority of the town vote, and once the majority has been reached any and all unvotes will not be counted.

6. Once your death scene has been posted, you are dead. You can no longer post anything revealing or of substance. Whining is alright, Voices from beyond the graveare alright, as long as nothing of substance is revealed.

7. You may vote ‘no lynch’ to end the day without a death.

8. The game will not be discussed outside this thread, unless your role specifically says you may do so.

9. Do not edit/delete previous posts. Whatever you say goes into historical record.

10. Day scenes I write will be fun and comical, don’t read too far into them. No clues or game information will be hidden in the text.

11. Joking in the thread is fine, but don’t let it get carried away and take over as spam.

12. Be attentive and active in the game. If I see you are not posting at all, I will prod all those who are inactive. If there is no timely response, you will be replaced.

13. Each game ‘day’ will have a deadline. I will remind everyone if the deadline is near, and to look toward voting. If no majority is reached at the end of the deadline if made, a ‘no lynch’ will be forced, sending the game into the night phase. The deadline may only be set after a couple days.

14. Similarly, each game ‘night’ will not last more than TWO 24 hour days. I will remind all those who have night choices when the deadline is near. If at the end of the second 24 hour day I have not received your night choice, you will have lost your choice action (I.E. for mafia, there would be a ‘no kill’, etc).

15. If you have any questions about whether you should or shouldn’t do something, or just need some clarification, feel free to PM me.

16. Try to be as awesome as me. I know its hard, but try, at least.

The game is too unbalanced for my liking.. Especially since you're stating the roles out.

6 players, 1 mafia, 2 VT, and 3 power roles.
Either two docs can continue to protect each other and never die. They can switch protect the cop and find the scum (3 claimed power roles, 1 person dead D1, he will have a 50/50 chance of finding scum N1) Also with roles already said this allows no room for counter claims or fake claims for the mafia.

^ For the above reasons I'm not gonna be in this one, sorry.

Well said. Consider making 1 doc into another Vt, or adding another mafia and 2 more VT's (along with the Doc switch to VT).

I am still in, but you may want to consider some revising.

Well if you REALLY want to make a functional game that's not majorly in town's favor. Add one more VT, switch a doc to VT, roleblocker, or bus driver, and also add one more mafia. So really you'd have a 8 player game that functions how it should.

This would make for a more even game if you wanted to keep it small.

that was gonna be the sequel... you ruined the surprise. for now i just deleted one doctor, which is what i wanted to do, but confused myself by dreaming about the set-up.

confirm... and I believe vodean said only confirming your allignment not your role since it is so small, so claims dont really do much for us IMO since everyone is just going to claim a town possision, so we should I guess talk about hinting at our roles or something that DOESNT break the rules and then lynch somebody off a slip. Anybody else have an idea on how to make this work?

Im sorry, I forgot the fact that there were 5 people (I just woke up, so Im sorry), so I guess I will ask here
MOD may we hint at roles, just not claim them, or are they to be kept private?
Also, I would not lynch someone off of just pure slips, I believe we need to (if it is allowed to hint) figure out the VTs and then take a choice from them as they are the most likely mafia... sorry for leading the game Im just throwing out my opinions to try and contribute more.
