Hello! And Welcome to Day 1 of the CCSOP!
Image
Anybody's Welcome! Noobs and Pros alike!

Sign ups will last 2 weeks!

Here are 1,000 Chips to start you off!

If you have no chips left, you lose! winner is whoever is the last man standing!
Image
For Day 1 the ante will be 100 chips.
For Day 2 the ante will be 250 chips.
For day 3 the ante will be 500 chips!
For Day 4 the ante will be 1,000 Chips!

The days will be Decided by however many people we get in the tournament.

There will be Tables of 8 at the start. (or if we get an awkward number of people less)

Random Generation for the starting tables.

Every 8 people there will be a starter for map picking. (See example)

Once I recieve the map from the starter. I will send a PM to the other people of the table. You have the choice to "play" or to "Fold" (Explained in Actions)

Once a game has started all bets are locked in! no changing!

I will send 2 invites to a game. If you decline both invites to a game you will lose a fourth of your chips. so don't do it!

There arnt many Mandatory actions in this tournament, but there are a few.

Send me a Map: Once it is your turn to send me a map. Send me one. With settings also, Trench is only allowed on small maps. Like Doodle Earth. (I will notify you when its your turn to do so) Also spoils will be escalating on anything that is not a small map. A twenty (20) round limit will be used for all maps. (manual and freestyle are not allowed.)

Send me a pre-game action: You must also send me a pre-game action, Like if you want to fold, or bet, or call.

Ante Up!: Each round, Play or not! You must Ante, which is putting in the amount of chips stated into the pot to play for. (amount stated in above Spoiler)

Big and Small Blind!: Unfortunately due to the complexity this would cause, There is no small and big blind, Just a betting minimum.

Once i have recieved the map from the starter. the other players have a few actions they can do:

  • Fold: Folding is throwing away your cards at any point of a game. (the reason being you have a bad hand, or in this case, a bad map) So folding in this game would be simply not playing in a game. (once you fold you cant take it back!)

  • Call: Someone that calls is putting in the same amount of chips that the highest chip bet is. (if you have called and someone else Bets you have to call the higher amount! But you only have to pay the difference between the 2. Player 1 Bets 100 chips, Player 2 bets 250 Chips, Player 1 has to call 150 chips to stay in. 250-100=150)

  • Bet: If you think you have a solid chance of winning a game, you can bet. Which is putting in more chips than the current highest bet. (A bet must be higher than the call amount!) (If you are betting to draw out the pre-game, You will lose a fourth of your chips! So Don't do it!

  • All In: All in is where a player bets the rest of his chips on a single game! if he loses he is out! There are 2 ways that a player can go all in:
Betting all of their chips pre-game.
Not having enough chips to pay the ante, but still has chips!

If 2 players go all in with different chip amounts, and the player with less chips wins, the player with the higher amount of chips loses only how many chips the Player with less had:
Player 1 goes all in with 1,000 chips.
player 2 goes all in with 2,500 chips.
    Player 1 wins.
Player 2 loses 1,000 chips and (because he had more chips than Player 1) he recieves 1,500 chips back.

Then play!

Table 1
Player 1. (picks a map for table 1) (After round 8 Picks a map)
Player 2. (After round 1 Picks a map)
Player 3. (After round 2 Picks a map)
Player 4. (After round 3)

Player 6. (After round 5)
Player 7. (After round 6)
Player 8. (After round 7)

Pre-game play: (all ante 100 chips) Pot: 800
Player 1 picks the map: All Your Base Are Belong To Us

Player action (Cost) Pot

Player 2 Folds. (No cost) No change in Pot

Yes, this needs to be answered. But, I'll go ahead and open the tournament on the premise that you will provide a list of small maps.

basically if betting lasts more than 4 days because someone keeps betting a little higher each time, then that is drawing out, but it probably wont happen.

What makes poker club a "small map" is because of the quick gameplay it has because of the low number of starting territories.
