[Social][Recruiting] Tournament Organizers

Tournament Organizers is a social usergroup which units tournament organizers (TOs) and its purpose is to have a positive effect on tournament world by guiding newcomers, sharing experience, running multiorganizer tournaments and with so much more. There are a few restrictions for being part of the group but they should be no stop to a serious tournament organiser.


To be eligible for membership of this social usergroup, you:

1. Must have completed at least 3 tournaments
2. Cannot be under any bans - tournament, forums or CC (neither temporary nor permanent)

If you are interested in joining the group then contact the group leader who will allow you to the group as soon as he/she has got confirmation that you're eligible to become part of the group.

I have updated the member list of this group and removed various TOs that are no longer active on CC.

That's not always easy to see, so if somebody was removed and feels it was incorrect, please contact me.

This seems like a fantastic idea.

2 points.

1/ If you've got to have 3 tournaments to get in the group you don't need the group do you...you've already run 3 successful tournaments.
2/ I suggest for first time TO's they shoudl have to join this group and I get a mentor to run the tournie with.

I got no support on mine, had real problems, got blocked from recruiting more players by the TD's (for wrong reasons) and all sorts of issues that would have got resolved much quicker with someone to turn to as a mentor.

As the current system stands, I'd not have any interesting in being a TO any further, due to the lack of support.
