Ah, the time is here! It's summer again in CC World, and we have some awesome happenings for you all as we do every year. This year, however, we'll be having a Mega-Event with lots of ways to win prizes such as General Achievement Medals, Months of Premium, and maybe a Conquer Cup Entry here or there. Why, you ask? That's right! This year, the 2012 Summer Olympics are being held in London, England. It's certainly a big event, and we have planned accordingly. Keep reading below for the scoop on who's doing what!
Tournaments
It's time to battle it out and make some records! Below I've listed the Tournaments that are included in this [Official] Event:
Prizes: Players who score highest in each of the individual events will receive 3 months Premium membership. Members of the team finishing with the highest total score will receive 1 year Premium Membership each and a General Achievement Medal.
Lastly for games, we have some [Official] ones for you. In the following link, you may join up to TWO games. If a player is caught joining MORE THAN TWO games, they will not receive a prize for this event. No exceptions. We need to be sure that a good number of you guys can play!

In celebration of the Olympics, the Entertainment Team will be hosting not one, but TWO Olympics Trivia Contest in Live Chat! Keep readin' for the specs.
When & Where
There will be two chances for you to use your Olympics expertise to claim a prize! Each one will be on the day of the Opening and Closing ceremony of the Olympics. The exact times are as follows:
I've spread the times into CC Time morning and evening so we can (hopefully) get as many participants as possible! If you'd like to participate, simply join Live Chat a few minutes before we begin, look for the Event Tab (you'll know it when you see it!) and await further instruction from myself or another Special Event Volunteer.
Structure
Each Trivia contest will test your trivial knowledge of Olympic potpourri, however, they will each be different! Below is the breakdown on what to expect from which:
Opening Ceremony Trivia: This trivia will include anything about the Olympic records, standings, history, origins, etc. of the Olympics in a general sense that does NOT pertain to the London 2012 Olympics
Closing Ceremony Trivia: This trivia will include anything about the Olympic records, standings, history, origins, etc. of the London 2012 Olympics specifically.
Now that you know what you'll be tested on, let's talk about how it's gonna' work:
Each event will be comprised of 30 Trivia Questions.
Being the first person to give the most correct answer will earn that player 1 Point to their running total.
The 10th and 20th Questions will be special "Clue" questions! Everyone in the room will be given hints staggered over a short time to "lead" you to the answer. The most correct answer will earn that player with 4 Points to their running total.
The player with the most points at the end of each Segment will be awarded their prizes, discussed below:
Prizes Winners of the Event will receive 3 months Premium membership (each), an entry into the following Conquer Cup, and they will also be rewarded with a General Achievement Medal. Prizes are donated by the Entertainment team.
Notes
Any issues will be solved by the event organiser and his/her word is final.
For simplicity, please refrain from using any bolded, italicized, crossed out, underlined, or colored text to make it easier for the Coordinators to see what's going on!
In the event of a tie, a tiebreaker round will be held among the tied participants. The first tied player to 3 points will claim ultimate trivia victory!
