Re: TO of the Year - 2011 [Contest] Last day for nominations
Best 1 v 1 Tournament; Best Large Tournament; Best Sports League Tournament -> NHL Season 2 by [player]Serbia[/player]
Well set up (both visually and logically), extremely smoothly ran and overall the work that has been put to running it (setting it up, the graphics, timely updates) is astonishing. It might seem that I am biased due to winning it but it actually gives me the advantage of seeing it from almost beginning until the end.
Best Huge Tournament -> Running Through the Alphabet by [player]barterer2002[/player]
Interesting idea and very well ran despite the fact that it was a very long tournament.
Both team tournaments that I nominate were a shining example of well ran tournaments.
Best Doubles Tournament -> Broadway, Your Way [TPA] by [player]anamainiacks[/player]
Best Quadruples Tournament -> My 4 Are Still Better Than Yours by [player]Darin44[/player]
Most Creative/Innovative Tournament -> The Legend of Tor Na'Mit
I'm really not sure if it qualifies but it was a magnificant idea with really interesting concept.
P.S. Thank you to those who nominated my tournaments, greatly appreciated after a successful year I have behind me!

Name of the Tournament Organizer: Qwert
The category (or categories) you nominate the tournament for: Best International Tournament, Best Sport league, Best 1vs 1
The reason why your nomination should win: The reason is that I really enjoyed playing this one. The concept was interesting, especially for us from Ex-Yu, and we could choose our favourite teams, and represent them.

Benga, thanks for your nominations. They were a bit messy, but I think I figured them all out. If you don't see anomination it's because the tournament didn't qualify or didn't for the specific category or it was nominated already.
Still working on yours ZZ, thanks.

ZZ beat me to nominating NHL Season 2 By [player]Serbia[/player], but I believe it should be in the "Best Mid-Sized Tournament" category not "Best Large Tournament" as it only had 1365 games.

Best Series
Walk in the park
I can see this becoming LxDS part two - it's got it written all over it. Always different themes while still keeping the same general style of play.

It had 30 entries and the winner played 88 games, score = 2640, which means "Large".

Below the results for the TO Career Award:
The winner is HighlanderAttack. He will receive a General Contribution Medal.
Many voted for him because he organized the biggest tournament ever: HA's 200th Tourney
Now it's abandoned, I knew it, I knew it!
