That video is a pretty big stretch and that picture is pretty dishonest.

You're telling me that you want MORE trickle down economics and MORE national debt, just like Reagan's failed central policy?

This was my favorite moment of the speech. It was better than when he pointed out that no Republican president has ever attempted to balance the budget.

I love hearing Bill Clinton speak. He's probably the best speaker I have heard during the RNC or DNC speeches. Last night's speech was amazing.

Secret Service: We‘re ’Aware‘ of DNC Delegate’s Threat to ‘Kill’ Romney

Was somebody saying something about "pararoid"?
“He will destroy this country completely, she said. “Romney will destroy his country…if I see him I would like to kill him.”

A spokesman for the Secret Service said the agency is “aware” of the video published by TheBlaze that featured a Democratic National Convention delegate saying she would like to “kill” Mitt Romney.

“We are aware of it and we will conduct the appropriate follow-up,” Secret Service spokesman George Ogilvie told TheBlaze Thursday.

Pretty clear who the party of hate is. I have been saying all along, the level of hate that the Democrats are trying to place against Republicans is going to keep on back-firing...

It's like you don't even exist on this plane of reality.

Yeah I don't have anything to add, I'd just like to point out that after last night Mitt Romney's supporters have had the wind knocked out of them. There isn't a single issue where Romney's position is better than Obama's, and now everyone can see it. People with little interest in politics get it now, thanks to the RNC and DNC. I mean, Romney's even known as the world's greatest flip-flopper, and he can't even change into a better position on the economy or healthcare or anything. And since Clinton nailed him for lying, he can't lie his way into a stronger position either.

The interviewer asks, "What do you think about supporting a candidate who flip flops" (referring to Romney's change in stance on abortion) Ryan goes on to talk about "people change their mind" "the important issue are..." etc.

The whole time I'm like..... RYAN, what don't you mention OBAMA's flip flop on GAY MARRIAGE?????????????????????????????????????????????

Hypocrites

There is a BIG difference between thinking about a subject and changing one's mind because the times have changed and BLASTING your opponent for taking the same position you take or have taken and not bothering to admit or acknowledge that fact.

Obama has changed his view on legalizing homosexual marriage. He has admitted doing so, but if you actually remember what he said in the past, it was "this is not the time...". Now, it apparently is the time.

RYAN has blasted Obama for cutting 700 million from Medicare... when his plan did that exact same thing. He blasted Obama for many things he himself supported... and has NOT changed.

LIstening to others and changing one's opinion is what intelligent people do.. particularly politicians. BUT denying you have changed your mind... that is hypocrisy.

All Clinton talked about was how his policies and actions were better, not Obama's. Obama has done nothing the same way as Clinton.

Because unless your plan specifically changes something that's already law, you have to assume that it will stay as law when writing new legislation.

Obama had two full years with a majority in both houses of congress. Did things to fix the debt get done then? If so, please elaborate.

Yeah they did actually. Common knowledge. I've been talking about this shit for weeks now. Clinton talked about it in his speech. He mentioned something else about people who were more angry than sensible. I'm honestly quite sick of repeating myself every day. You should already be well aware of everything from just being awake during 2008 and not need me or Clinton to coddle you guys.

I think most, if not all, Republicans and conservatives would agree with the president. The disagreement comes from how one proposes to exercise their responsibilities to others. The president wishes for the government to coerce people to exercise their responsibilities. And that is one of the places where we differ.
