Ive decided to run an interesting tournament, rooted in beta maps, but including finalized maps as well. (with a unique twist)
In this tournament you will play on a beta map and a map of your choice with the first letter corresponding to the first letter of the beta map youve chosen, its really not as complicated as it sounds.
Because of the game load only premium players may enter
All the rules and gameplay are outlined, please take a moment to read them
There is also group details outlined under "Players and Group Phase" and excel charts under "Round Robin Phase"

[spoiler=Gameplay]Players will signup and select one of the 6 beta maps, as well as a 2nd map option based on the started letter of the beta map chosen. (ex-if Baltic Crusades is chosen, the player must select a normal map starting with "B")
Optional maps can be repeated
The 18 players will be divided into 6 groups of 3 based on their initial map selections
The tournament will consist of 2 phases; group phase and round robin phase
Group Phase
Each of the 3 players will play 6 1v1 games; their beta map against each opponent and their 2nd map against each opponent
The player who wins the most games will advance to round 2
In the case of a tie a single game on the beta map of that group will be played (if it is a 3 way tie, it will be a 3 player game) to determine who advances
Round Robin Phase
The 6 winner of the group phase will now play a round robin
Each player will play 1 game against each other play on their beta map and on their 2nd map (total 20 games)
The player who wins the most games will be the winner of the tournament
In the case of a 2 player tie-1v1 games on their 2 beta maps, this will continue until someone wins both
In the case of a 3 player tie-1v1 games on their beta maps, this will continue until a natural winner is established
I have plans for every possible situation regarding ties, simply dont want to take the time to post them, as it is so unlikely to happen
Basically just win as many games as possible!
[/spoiler][spoiler=Rules]All games will be played with the settings auto,sequential,escalating,chained,foggy,no trench,no limit and will be 1v1
The only exception to this will be in the case of a 3 way game a 20 round limit will be added
Players have 48 hours to join their games, failure to do so will result in a forfeit
Reserves will be taken for round 1 only
Players are asked to observe a 12 hour fog courtesy, this is not mandatory, but please try!
Players who do not select their Beta map or their second map will be PMed and have 24 hours to respond
Failure to respond will result in you not being added to the list[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Available Maps]**For the purpose of this tournament all "Classic Cities" maps will be labeled and treated as the city name.
Ex. Classic Cities-Jakarta will be considered a "J" map
