[Moved]

It would appear that development of this map has stalled. If the mapmaker wants to continue with the map, then one of the Foundry Moderators will be able to help put the thread back into the Foundry system, after an update has been made. ;-)

Moving this one into the ideas subforum, according to the current Foundry Guidelines --> viewtopic.php?f=649&t=150681&p=3292833#p3292833

If the map has NOT received at least the Draft Stamp, it will be considered just an advanced idea and therefore it will be moved back to the Idea Subforum.

It's a shame this map stalled. I was really looking forward to this one. Somebody should take this up and finish it, I think it would make a great addition to CC.

Hm, I don't know. Is this worth supersizing? That'd be one way to fit territory names in.

I think it would be worth it. It's such a unique idea, it deserves the extra room to make it work.

I hope you pick this back up.

I still don't know if I want to do any of these countries. I barely know anything about them.

I don't think anybody really cares which countries you do that much. It's more the general concept you have here which is really cool. Any 4 smaller countries would work. My thoughts anyway.

tkr4elf is right. This is such a great concept for a map and it's be an awful waste for it to come to nothing.

If you're looking for ideas on countries, I reiterate this suggestion from a few months back. It's a lot of work, so I can totally understand if you don't want to undertake it. But something tells me a "Four Corners" pack would be EXTREMELY popular. So before you make the first one, I might try to sketch out a theme in case there are subsequent ones.

First, I want to say that I love this idea in general. And I think the four you picked are excellent. If this is a one-off map, why not have them be random like you have them? I'm all for that.

That said, not sure this is a "better idea,"just trying to expand on your idea... if this concept catches on, why not do a "Four Corners" pack, like the Interstate system? I'm thinking each region would encompass four smallish states. The below is just a series of examples, nothing I'd write in stone...

Four Corners of the Americas [Suriname, Dominican Republic, Belize, Uruguay]
Four Corners of Africa [Tunisia, Rwanda, Ghana, Lesotho]
Four Corners of Asia [Nepal, East Timor, Sri Lanka, Taiwan]
Four Corners of Europe [Monaco, Liechtenstein, Kosovo, Denmark*] EDIT: Denmark has been done, now... so, rotate in Andorra as a different example
Four Corners of the Middle East [Qatar, UAE, Lebanon, Kuwait]

Would be a lot of work, but if the general concept catches fire--and it seems like people really like it--why not have a series planned out before you get started, so that there's a clear path to developing more than one of these sort of maps?

This map/concept is too good/fun to not be finished.
