I assume you're suggesting a LOTR map. We had one but it was removed/changed due copyrights. I'm sorry but we can't have such maps unless the mapmaker can obtain the permission from the person who retains the rights.
If you are looking into something similar look at our Midgard Map

Considering that this appears like a suggestion I'm going to move it into ideas.

We can use a LOTR map, we just need to give credit to whoever owns the rights. It would totally be worth it!

Sorry but no we can't...it doesn't work exactly how you're saying. It would be nice, but it's not in that way.
And the map we have was changed exactly because we can't use original names, place and anything is related with that story.
Search for the other thousand discussions that there are already been in past in the foundry about it and you will see you're riding a dead horse.

As thenobodies80 said, it can't be made due to copyright, so we will not allow it to be - or any map to be exact - made because of the copyright. If anyone can secure the copyright, and proof that he/she has permission, then, and only then, will we allow a Middle Earth Map. Until then don't hold your breath.

we had a map of middle earth a few years back, the closed we have to that is the midgard map. as said, copyright issues.
