clickable maps is not working for me. I have re-installed it a number of times and I'm stuck using the horrid CC base clickable maps. I cannot get version 4.12 working at all, i don't even see the menu on the left anymore when in a game.

If that is the new version then I hate it and want to go back to the old 4.11 cause I have missdeployed in almost every game today

Hmm, might be interesting to check why that goes wrong. Do you see any errors in the javascript console (ctrl-shift-j in firefox) being added when opening a game page?

First sorry for the frustrated rant I had just miss-deployed for the 5th or 6th game in a row and was very frustrated. I apologize for that. You guys do excellent work on these add ons and I for one feel that CC would be much less enjoyable without the work you do.

Clickable maps seems to be working again for me. Not sure what happened or didn't happen yesterday but as long as it is working I'm happy.

Okay, we dealt with a similar problem with BOB this way. Select the ENTIRE SCRIPT (Ctrl-A) and copy it to the clipboard (Ctrl-C). Then, from the Greasemonkey drop-down menu, select New User Script... On the New User Script dialog box, click the Use Script From Clipboard button, and you should be ready to go.

Right now clickies don't override CC clickies script. I think there might be a conflict with some other GS script. Fiddling with them I found out that most likely it is chatglove that breaks clickies. Can you please look into it?

I thought Chrome users right-clicked that link to download the file to the desktop or somewhere handy, then forced Chrome to accept the file somehow. Sorry, I don't use Chrome, and here at work, I can't even take a quick stab at this.

Yes u need to download the file, then drag it to Extensions

Otherwise you can download Tampermonkey, that is similar to Greasemonkey in FF

Greetings all-

I've looked and just can't seem to find the link for the older version of clickable maps. I would like to reinstall the older version because the newest version of clickable maps seem screwy on the Macbook. The older version allowed me to click on the terr and each click would add an army. Attacking and forting was also done with a simple click. Now it wants right clicks, confirmations, and even then if doesn't seem to move the correct troops. The update may be great if using a mouse, unfortunately it has made it more difficult on the Mac.

Does someone have any advice? I am completely up to date with the latest firefox, greasemonkey, BOB, etc...

I would appreciate any help offered.

I have now found the direct file and along with it the source code, but what file type do i save it as to be able to add it as an extension on chrome?

Hiya ljex

Subject: Useful Add Ons and UserScripts

Leehar wrote:yeah, it's an irritating move.

The work-around is that you can still download the script, and then drag-drop it into chrome://extensions/

http://userscripts.org/topics/113176

Google Faq version:
We recommend you only add extensions from other websites that you trust. In Chrome, you can follow these steps to add the extension:

Download the extension file from the website and save it to your computer.
Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
Select Tools > Extensions.
Locate the extension file on your computer and drag the file onto the Extensions page.
Review the list of permissions in the dialog that appears. If you would like to proceed, click Install.

so I assume save it as the default .user.js?

Just made the mistake of upgrading to FF21 and it seems to have broken Clickable Maps. I'm hoping this can be fixed?

Thanks!

Not what I wanted to hear :/ Wonder what the issue could be then, since it was working fine prior to upgrading. Maybe I'll try upgrading my Greasemonkey, but the Firefox and Clickable Maps versions are what I have.

The "Clickable Maps 4.12" is broken by the new site updates, the temporary fix before an update from the script developer is this:

Click on Tools/Greasemonkey/Manage User Scripts ...
Right click on "ConquerClub - Clickable Maps" and select "Edit" ...

Find the line blow (Around line 730):

Code: Select all

return nodes[nodes.length - 1].innerHTML;

Replace it with line below:

Code: Select all

return nodes[0].innerHTML;

Don't forget to make a backup before editing, in case of any problems occurred ...
