As in the real Stanley Cup playoffs, first to win 4 games in their series advances to the next round. The first two games will be played on the better-ranked team's home map (in brackets next to the team's name) and the next two on the other team's home map (also in brackets next to the team's name and they alternate game-by-game after that. Please note that it is possible for a team to share a home map with another team. Players have the option to pick their team. If no team is specified in their post, or the team they specified was already chosen, the player will be assigned the first available team. Games will be sent out one at a time, so freemiums are welcome. If a player misses two consecutive invitations to a game, they will be replaced by a reserve in that game and will be invited to the next game. In the case of a reserve being called up, the wins are counted by team, not by player (ie. player A misses two invites so reserve B fills in. player A was leading the series 3-2. reserve B won the game and therefore the series.). If a player misses two consecutive games, that player is eliminated from the tournament and replaced by a reserve.
