This is a Tournament Players Association Year 3 (TPA3) event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgments which are detailed at http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=175675.
All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You need do nothing more than join one or more of the TPA3 events that will be announced each Monday. Check back on the scoreboard to see how you're doing:

Sempai's Graduation Medal Hunt! [TPA3]

This tournament will be PREMIUM-ONLY, since each player will play 31 games in each of the first two rounds, and may be playing a similarly high number in each subsequent round.

To celebrate my acquisition last week of the highly-prized status of COLLEGE GRADUATE (yay), I decided to host my first TPA tournament. Since DaveH was nice enough (or foolish enough - you judge) to tell me that any format was OK, I am going to make this a MEDAL HUNT.

Now, this won't be like most medal hunting tourneys I've participated in, where even if you make it to the final, you only play a third, at most, of the other players in the tourney. I understand that in order to earn medals, you need a LOT of UNIQUE defeats. So, this will be a ROUND ROBIN medal hunt.

What does this mean? It means that:
In each round, you will play every other player in the tournament, as long as you have not beaten that player AND that player has not beaten you.
YOUR MISSION, therefore, is to be the first to defeat all other players!
The tournament will continue until someone has beaten all other players - that player will then be named the winner.
If multiple players accomplish this feat in the same round, they will play a round robin with the same settings, and the player with the most wins in this round robin will be named the winner. If players tie for most wins, the tied players will play round robins. This will repeat until one player is left standing.
Players will be ranked by number of players defeated.
Ties will be broken by number of new kills in each round, starting with Round 1.

All games will be:
1v1
Random map
Manual
Freestyle
Nuclear
Unlimited
Fog Trench
30 Round Limit
Casual

If you do not accept your invite to any game (unless you let me know that it is by accident or that there are extenuating circumstances), you will forfeit that game, and your opponent will be credited with an automatic win against you.
If you miss at least one invite in each of any three rounds, you will be expelled from the tourney and all players who have not already defeated you will be credited with an automatic win against you.

I see its freestyle. What is your game joining rule. Players will try to join last to get first turn meaning that at times invites can be missed.

I usually send out three invites before replacing players, but I see how that might be exploited.

So, because it's freestyle, if a player does not accept an invite, he will forfeit that game.
Missed invites in any three rounds will result in expulsion from the tourney.
Once a player is expelled from the tourney, all other players will be credited with an automatic win against that player.

shoop, thank you for bringing that to my attention.

Thank you, merch!
To clarify, "best start" means "most Round 1 wins"

Because of manual, it doesnt matter wether you join 1st or 2nd to know which one will be able to start the game, even it if is freestyle. So the rules for the invites isnt necessary :)

I'm in !
