ROUND 1: 16 players
Each player plays in a Random Map Matchup with 1 other player. These matches will have a 20-round limit, if a winner is not determined after this, the player with the most territories in his/her possession wins.

ROUND 2: 8 players
Two 4-player assassin games will be held on USApocalypse in one game and Luxembourg in the other. The winner of these two games moves on to Round 5.

ROUND 3: 8 players
The two winners from Round 2 receive a bye. The remaining 6 play in a classic game on Doodle Earth. 1st and 2nd place in this game move on to Round 4. The remaining 4 play a terminator game on Conquer 500, 1st and 2nd move on to Round 4. 3rd and 4th in that game are eliminated.

ROUND 4: 6 players
Winners of Round 2 again receive a bye. The will play a 2 game modified Swiss tournament. Each player plays a game. The winners of the first game advance automatically, but the two losers play for a winner. Those three move on to face the winners from Round 2 in Round 5.

ROUND 5: 5 players
The final game will be a regular game played on Oceania.
