My Kids Got Tagged...What Do I Do?

Post by mbell82 »

My kids got tagged for multiple account abuse. My 10 year old and 14 year old have been locked out and told they have to buy premium memberships in order to keep playing. But, no one will tell me how to keep this from happening again, so we don't waste the membership fees. I've sent numerous messages to admin, but so far no response. Does anyone know what can be done about this?

personally, id erase their ages in the public forum...and, they may not be allowed to play games together, and should avoid public singles even if allowed to, to avoid complaints, but if you can prove they are playing seperately, they could be O.K. The mods to get appeals on nearly every bust though, so it takes time to sort through the valid, and non-valid ones.

it probably wouldn't bother me so much except we asked in advance on how to avoid this and still got tagged with it. both of them have lost their place in tourneys now. they are really bummed. i got better service, upfront and back end help from other gaming sites. i'm thinking about just giving up on this one. it's not family friendly and that counts a lot for me and my friends.

Not family friendly?

Your sons got convicted of cheating. It's breaking the rules. They can get a second chance, if you pay the $20.

guilty of cheating for being separate individuals playing games of their own? Not hardly. that kind of crap is what i mean by not being family friendly. i guess that answered my question about whether to stay or not...

it's hard to believe that when someone follows the instructions on how to not get tagged as multiple account abuser, and obeys the rules that you are guilty and convicted. that's called false accusation.

but lest anyone think i am contesting this, all i want to know is how to avoid having my sons get tagged in the first place. if paying the premium membership fee isw all that's required, why does the email say you can still get tagged and restricted again/ I'm not willing to pay for their premium fees and probably mine over and over and over because this game site has no provision for family members playing from the same household. THAT is what I mean by not being family friendly.

and while i'm on the subject...how does a 9 year old and a 14 year old pay for a premium membership? if I pay it, then the billing information shows my account and theirs to be for the same person and we all would probably be restricted. anyone got an answer for that one? What part of that is family friendly?

Hooray for families! And of course other innocent groups of non-genetically linked individuals utilising the same computational device to access this site on which they maintain seperate identities

Amen, Mustard. And, thank you wicked. I work nights so I missed their message until I got home this morning. Hopefully, they remembered to say thank you, as well.

What are you the inflexible cop???, they're kids. I hope you'll never have kids, probably if they break a rule in your house you'll beat them till death,

More sence

Even if it's not true, that they are kids, your statement make us very clear the kind of person you are

Cheating

You can play in the same house but try to avoid single games, if they want to play team games be sure you have two computers if it is freestyle, if the game is sequential they can play without worrying.

Me and two friends have been accused before because two of us are from the same country (ecuador), and very often we use the same internet conection, but we never play single games, only team.

Anyway, avoid single games together, that'll do

I told you they'd be fine, the mods are just super busy, and it does take some time to sort through....but it is wierd that in one post your youngest was 10, and then lost a year and became 9 again in a subsequent post...

But seriously, i would ask them to play in private games together. If they play a bunch of singles together, I can almost guarantee a flood of complaints and cheating accusations. This will save them a lot of grief.

Personally, I think there should be a family section of the game where people kids or not, can be safe from the more....vocal and even sometimes abusive players. Maybe in due time.

I like how this was taken seriously and even re-admitted the "childrens" accounts and yet this guy can't even get his kids' ages right.
