Country
I have a question!!! lol. when som1 goes to another country, and logs in from there, would their country change right away? for example. If I went to Canada and logged in there, would my country that is shown change that moment?

Re: Country
Your country is determined automatically by looking up your IP address in a GeoIP database
so if you travel, you use another ip adres, thus your flag changes, yes
Re: Country
this is what I thought, but thank you for clarification.

Does this apply to the US armed forces overseas? It seems to me that the military wouldn't be all that keen to let everyone know who's in Afghanistan or wherever. For active duty military stationed overseas, using the military internet access, would CC also change their flag to show where they are deployed?

Do active duty military members have access to the internet daily to be able to play on this site?

The flag is determined by the Location Code of your IP address, which is set by your ISP. So, if the ISP is the US government, they could set the country code to be whatever they wanted to. However, if you're using local internet from a local internet provider it's likely that the true location would be shown.

US troops always use gov sanctioned netware. i hope. so it (should)shows the usa area(or none if not in the geo database). ofcourse, using local acces will set your ip to a different location, untill you log in again.
troops do get R&R but i know dutch troops have internet regulations that are reasonable enforced..

I don't know how the internet works in the military. There was no internet when I was in. Yes... I'm that old.
