Long have the sophisticated Club elite reveled in the fancy game interface options provided by the Add-On 'Bob'. For almost as long have those users been subjected to the abject horror of their Bob features breaking every time the site was updated. Meanwhile new users, and users less familiar with the vagaries of Add-Ons, Greasemonkeys and unMicrosoftian browsers have struggled on with an interface that has become increasing, well, deficient. Now we have a solution for these perplexing quandaries.
We are proud to announce the release of a new Conquer Club gaming interface, that comes with almost all features of 'Bob' built-in... and more!
Browser Compatability - Works on all major browsers - Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
Panel Based Console - Position your gaming panels where you want them!
Floating Action Panel - You can float, move and resize your Action Panel if you choose
Enhanced Mobile Functionality - Much improved mobile performance
Snapshots - snap and recall game state
Map Inspect - check all borders, player and team territory ownership by mouseover
Per Map Settings - Map Size, Map Opacity, Circle Whiteness
Advanced Stats
Additional Game Info
Text Maps
Color Coded Dropdowns
NOTE: The New Interface comes turned OFF by default for existing players. You will need to go to Game Settings to turn it on. Also, you will need to disable the Bob Add-On!
As well as being able to toggle the New Interface itself on the Game Settings page you will also find a number of new features related to and bundled with it:
Advanced Processing - turn off some of the fancier features on the interface in order to speed the game up
Map Inspect
Color Coded Drop Downs
Confirmations - Deploy, Auto Assault, Phase End
And there are more new features
Speed Autotournaments - The technology to run speed autotournaments is in place... look out for a Speed Auto on the Tournaments Page.
Hide Left Nav - On the Left Nav you have the option to Show, Hide, Hide In Game or Hide Not In Game the entire Left Nav. This is especially great for small screens.
Maps Page - Maps now have a new, more accessible, home. Implements this Suggestion by [player]greenoaks[/player]
List Game Finder results from oldest to newest - Available as an option, this implements this Suggestion by [player]Metsfanmax[/player]
Chat auto-refresh to casual team games - Chat in Team games, where communication is key, will now autorefresh, implementing this Suggestion by [player]natty dread[/player] (note, autorefresh was not added to all casual games due to likely server load and potential user experience issues).
Map Discussion from games - Expanding on our previous release of map discussion threads for Beta Maps, all games now contain a link to the Map Discussion thread, Implementing this Suggestion by [player]chapcrap[/player]
Add Tournament Types - New categories for Tourneys are now available, implementing this Suggestion by [player]Gilligan[/player]
Tournament Info - Small update to Tournament Info page, implementing this Suggestion by [player]patrickaa317[/player]
Tournament Medal Winner Text - Description text for tournament trophies has been improved, implementing this Suggestion by [player]iAmCaffeine[/player]
------ Grand flunkey to the monkey with the spanking machine
Very excited about this update. I've had BOB for years, but only turn it on for difficult moves and snaps because it always slowed down my machine. Plus, I could never install it on my work computers or phone, so having snaps built in is just a tremendous update.
SIDE STATS : They are on the right side of the map ... The original Settings allowed to have it BELOW MAP or BESIDE MAP in Settings Options ... Now you have to double click to have it show up below the map You have to do this for EACH and EVERY TURN YOU TAKE
DO NOT LIKE THIS OPTION IT SHOULD BE AN OPTION IN THE SETTINGS AREA

I didn't like it at first either but I think you can change those options under game settings in your personal menu. I messed around with them there because I like my in game menus/stats under the map as well. All my games are like that now after changing it. Still getting use to it but I think I like that I can toggle between overview, chat, etc on it now.

you should not have to change the positions of panels every turn you make. once you position them how you want them they should stay that way, for that browser on that computer. you can have them a different way on a different browser/computer. if this is not happening then it may be a bug, so please report it with screen shots.

I totally agree...very annoying and confusing. Can this be an option for us: Have the side stats either be A) on the right side or B) below the map?

On the Active Clan war info pages it is now showing a small icon of each map in the war + the settings. Previously it showed game numbers and which games were already won and by which clan (which was much more helpful to the clans).
Was this intentional, or also a bug?

Not to sound like a cry baby here, but this latest update truly sucks.
Innyaface and I have both mentioned about the side panels being broken. (Thanks, Innya, for sending it to the Bug Report...I was going to do that next.)
Having the Chat Log on top make sit easier to see when communicating with team mates during a Teams/Clan match and in singles, in case another player offers a truce.
Another issue with the new update is that the BOB feature of being able to hover your mouse over a territory to see what it is adjacent to for attacks (I don't know what it's called exactly) is not available. This is incredibly useful in more complex maps where bombardment comes into play, along with "jigsaw puzzle" style maps.
Finally, Continent Overview is quite helpful...and not available with this new update.

it is not clear what you mean here. all of these these are available with this update. it is possible you are running bob simultenously with the new interface which will not work, or there is some other confusion.
these are new features to the site and have never been officially provided before. that you have received them is only thanks to volunteers that built the bob add-on. if you wish you can choose not to use the new interface and continue to use bob as before, however the site is not responsible for its functioning.

there was a deliberate visual update, however if information has been removed that was unintentional and will be rectified.
Did we also decide to have no cover page on the web site ? When I click on I just get a login page . Why have the map and chat options been changed ? For the speed game community they go hand in hand !! BR
