Well, this event is being run by sempaispellcheck, so while I can make reasonable guesses as to what he is thinking, I don't actually know. So please, do NOT take my word as doctrine here. I'm sure sempai will clarify in a day or two; he's probably been busy with holiday stuff.

just a thought sempaispelchek:
i wouldn't think it much of an accomplishment to let bot wins also count as map, zombie parachute etc wins

anycase thanks for the nifty challenge ; Merry Christmas
I wish either my father or my mother, or indeed both of them as they were in duty both equally bound to it, had minded what they were about when....

If 2 player fog game, please allow 12 hour snap courtesy, or post what I could have seen.... Thank you

That is not possible. You cannot play a bot on zombie or parachute. You also cannot get a map win from a bot with any of the maps he chose.

My main reason for checking the games myself rather than having people send in checklists is that it will enable more people to get medals.
My theory is that if someone who doesn't know about the challenge gets a medal for it, they'll be on the lookout for future challenges, which will increase participation.
I think that's worth a little extra legwork on my part. :D

Dec. 20th -- 1 down, 15 to go.
Dec. 23rd -- got 4 done, 1/3 of the way to the 5th (Polymorph) and started my first No Forts game!
Dec. 26th -- got 7 done for sure now, plus 2 more that I think I am winning, plus the bots should be easy, for a total of 12. Biggest problem is that the 9, 10, 11, 12 player games are taking forever to fill, and of course I'm not sure if I will win any of them, so I keep joining more "just in case". My other problem is that I have no idea how to go about winning a No Forts game.

Anybody who has a reliable strategy for No Forts games, wants to take me under their wing in a Dubs game?

Dec. 23rd -- got 4 done, 1/3 of the way to the 5th (Polymorph) and started my first No Forts game!
Dec. 26th -- got 8 done for sure now, plus pretty confident in my last 2 polymorphs, plus the bots should be easy, for a total of 12. Biggest problem is that the 9, 10, 11, 12 player games are taking forever to fill, and of course I'm not sure if I will win any of them, so I keep joining more "just in case". My other problem is that I have no idea how to go about winning a No Forts game.
Dec. 28th -- got 11/16 now, so I guess I should go do the bots games now and I'll have 14/16. I also have a ConquerMan game that's looking pretty good, and out of the 20 or 25 qualifying large games for item 13, I sure hope I win at least one.
Dec. 29th -- Okay bots done. I now have 14/16. Only ConquerMan and the big multiplayer remains. One of my ConquerMan games is looking like a probable win, and assuming I can win at least one of the many multiplayers I should have 16. Not going to stress about it, anyway. Don't need the 500 creds, so I could have stopped at 12; going for 16 was mainly an ego thing.

I can relax now. The two medals are in the bag. I'll probably end up with 16/16 anyway, but if I don't then no bother.

It's been one hell of a ride. Thank you, sempaispellcheck, for a very entertaining and challenging quest. Possibly the most exciting two weeks I've ever had on CC; certainly a contender for Top 5.

I'm going to finish 15 out of 16, but great challenge and have enjoyed it. Like most I've played maps I haven't played before in the farewells. Thanks for going the extra distance with this. Have a great New Year and look forward to many more challenges in 14.
