Re: (GON 3rd game)Paranoia. Day 3

Night 2 Scene

Paranoia ruled Auchterbucky. Nobody trusted anyone anymore. Neighbour watched neighbour and some had just left town altogether. Just outside town one man had taken it to extremes. After the lynching of jusplay he had bought every lock and chain in town and turned his house into a castle. Nothing was getting in unless he let them. He had a problem though. His wife had left for work that morning and despite several frantic phone calls she had refused to come home till her shift finished.

Undeterred he had boarded every window except a small round porthole looking out to the front. From there he could see straight up the road in the direction his stubborn wife would come from. Too small for anyone to get through they would sleep easy tonight. Peering through this he watched for the headlights coming over the hill in the distance, just as the window exploded in his face.
He had done his job well. The few who did come to his wifes frantic phone calls could clearly see his lifeless eyes staring back at him, a massive bullet hole where his nose should have been. It was well over an hour before anyone got to him.

show

Day 3 begins. With 10 left it takes 6 to lynch. Daytime 23.59 GMT Tuesday 15th April.

Omg! I tried to resurrect the bodyguard but I got roleblocked. It wasn't specified why my resurrection didn't worked, just that it didn't. Such a brilliant move from the mafia. Now I'm pretty sure that no one will believe me, so we will lose both my power to resurrect, and another townie once I am lynched. TheCrown was right, I should have used my power as soon as possible. Well, at least I'm happy with my game, I got 2 confirmed bad guys on my list, and a confirmed good guy too.

By the way, if they used their roleblock on me, that means they either have to kill me or use their roleblock on me every turn. Otherwise there will be another townie back in the game, which the mafia really don't want to happen. This means that as long as I am alive, the cop can't be roleblocked.

I'm actually surprised at how fast you are jumping on me, especially mookie. Like I said, I did had the 2 bad guys that got out on my lists, and I had TC as a good guy on my good guy list. And why are you not at least talking this with me, you're just voting and not saying a single word.

If Sirius was roleblocked, killing him now free's up their roleblocker to aim at KE3 or Gab every turn instead.
Did anyone learn something about him last night to confirm?
I got a vote

So KE3, I guess that means we dont have anything to worry about from Mookie ... and you said the same about joak last turn; good to know.

4play was a SK and TC was a Bus Driver ... we got some interesting roles in this game.

There goes Sirius' mafia brother Tuffy with a poor attempt to save Moo's skin. I have no interest in further discussion. String him up.

Yeah Sirius, its not personal but this being my first game you had one chance to save yourself, if the mafia really did that good a job at framing you I have no real way to tell. Maybe I'm naive this being my first game but this couldn't look more suspicious.

@vets - Is a roleblocker a common role? What are the chances Sirius is telling the truth?

Unless someone else comes up with more compelling evidence on another Mafia member I'm gonna have to stick with my vote.

I love how Sirius jumped in 19 minutes after crasp posted the scene to plead his useless case. Of course, the votes start piling on like they should and Sirius declares a mafia win. Pulling out every scum trick in the book. What do we need, one more vote? If you are townie, now is the time to prove it.

Wow.....that's a whopper of a scenario Sirious! Almost too well spun to be anything but true. Gonna have to think that one out. Any night actions to report?
Gab....can you elaborate on your Kill suspicions/vote?

Before any one else votes for sirius, it seems like TC's role was fairly interesting. He can switch two people? What light does it shed on the last two nights?

Killum, the mafia would love for the reviver to hang today so they can use their possible roleblocker on KE3 or Gab instead.
You have gotten very pushy & aggressive lately since you've been put on the map with having a horribly high vote count.
You rarely offer anything useful as fact or even logic to explain yourself.

Start posting something with more than a sentence or two and justify yourself!
Im not letting Sirius off the hook, he may still fry but you dont think its worth at least everybody posting, just once, on d3?
You want this vote and lynch to commence so fast, your preventing the town from even discussing our n2 night info - let alone just a single post.

A very scummy tell and at such a critical point in time for you to behave like this ... :-k
Damn it though, Ive been thinking you were townie the whole time and that we were just butting heads, but this is evidence enough for me to start considering otherwise.

Perhaps you should claim now since this development.

Im not a vet, but I dont think a roleblocker is that rare; there is already roles revealed by MOD here before not seen in the last two GON mafia games.
Can anyone confirm from memory - Did we have a roleblocker in both games or just one?

I dont know here, its seems like a perfectly woven web built ... guess not sure what else to expect with the number of roles revealed already though.
The mafia n2 knew Sirius would have great chance to hang this round if he didnt revive.
So .. if they roleblocked him n2 then thats one problem less d3, n3, d4 etc for them; they can concentrate on the other claimed townie powerroles.

I suppose we can treat Sirius akin to a if-all-else-fails-vote?
We need to consider also the mafia will vote hammer on Sirius with hardly any consequences since they could claim ignorance on d4 along w/ the rest of us.

Whats the rest of us think?

basicly he is being really agressif and going at saying whoever is related to sirius a mafia right away and when tuffy said who was ok by the book so far he jumped on him for no real reasonit look like a mafia wanting to lynch the townie really fast to get tto the night now

@tuffy yeah there was a role blocker last game tough got kill first night xD

i think we should pursue on kill

Based on this argument I will unvote, in the spirit of "if all else fails" on sirius to give us all a chance to think it through. KE3 seems fairly legit as the cop. From what i understand there is almost always a cop and no one else is stepping forward. And now we know its not crown.

Come to think of it ... I see now why TC wanted everyone's role, exactly w/o encryption.
Read the BusDriver role - he masked the reasoning with being a townie pursing suspects like business as usual.
Some suspected this was TC trying to reveal poweroles for his other made-men.
Well played! =D>

An additional thought:
We got some night info already.
KE3 - vouches for Mook and joak
Plus a SK and H8 as mafia ... this would make 5 people not townie and at that point, doesnt it begin to become an unbalanced game?
Point is ... makes me want to believe KE3.

I'm curious as to what Sirius believed TC to be, I had him down as a Politician.
