Only In Canada

Post by notyou2 »

Only in Canada do they break in the first game of the Stanley Cup to tell the people of one city to be aware, there is a cop killer on the loose.

This is a link to the CBC story, but they basically told the people to be vigilant during the first intermission of the game.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/new-brunswick/manhunt-underway-in-moncton-after-at-least-2-people-shot-1.2665359

At least one of the people shot is an RCMP officer. I understand she is dead.

Moncton's not in Canada, it's outside of Toronto (or Cheranna, for the locals).

According to DoomYoshi, things that aren't in Toronto aren't in Canada.

Wait - in less than 2 hours this guy has managed to gun down (at least) 5 police and is still going after more? How many police are there in New Brunswick to begin with, like 10? At this point you're best off just calling it quits and abandoning the province. The premier can form a government-in-exile in DoomYoshi's basement. 2dimes would probably be willing to let a few refugees camp in his back yard. Time to pull together, gang.

Lucky for me, I'm in Nova Scotia. There are only 3 citizens left alive in New Brunswick.

According to Bourque's FB page he's been scared witless by the Canadian government that Russia is about to invade downtown Moncton (maybe to corner the market on flannel shirts) ...

experts agree Canada is one of the worlds most likely targets Russia would invade at the start of a war due to pushover resistance and an abundance of natural and man made resources, the youth in Canada agree that there is no reason what so ever for any fear of invasion because everyone loves us, and we're special, and that the world is in a new era of peace and understanding.

The photographer for the Moncton newspaper deserves a Pulitzer prize, if they give those out for photos, for this shot of Prince Joffrey consolidating his hold on New Brunswick -

Viktor Pivovarov won a national award for pictures he took in Moncton of a hostage taking and stand off a few years back. He certainly has balls and a nose for news. I actually live in the city where this is occurring. The gunman is still on the loose 24 hours later and there are 300 police looking for him. They are using Brinks trucks to move the police around.

I recommend you move somewhere safer than Moncton, like Detroit or Baghdad.

I moved to my summer home, half an hour away, on a sandy beach, with bikini babes, and bars.

Way more action than the Platinum Lounge. There are real girls at the beach, unlike the Platinum Lounge.

Those damn Canadians call beaches a bunch of rocks and some fake sand next to those cold cloudy-water lakes.

Something happened in my pants when I saw them but it's not pee. You will possibly discover this phenomenon soon.

You tools better appreciate that 'cause I like Scotty. Therefore him possibly discovering the phenomenon may or may not mean I'm driving my windowless van looking for him.

I know you're only kidding, but shootings outside of the US don't make the ones in the US happen any less frequently. Look at what happened in Seattle.

There are billions of rocks on the beach, but they are incredibly small. You could hold thousands in your hand. Also, it's the Atlantic, not a lake, but it gets to 72F.

Is that a joke? What's the difference between that you call a beach and those beaches at the lakes?

This is a beach:

So, the same thing, except it's so polluted no one goes near it?
