So AOG, do you know what you are doing or did you just sign up because it was game of thrones? Are you happy with the character you got or is it a crappy one?

Like strike said, I used to play a ton and figured this would be a fun one to get back into.

I've only played 7-8 games total in the past few months and only on the CC mafia thread, so obviously I've played with a handful of some of you that are in this game. I can say that Iron Butterfly will probably be more reserved and muted from my experience and I've played 2 games recently with Jak in which he was very active. IMO everyone else that plays regularly on this site doesn't lean too far one way or the other as far as post frequency goes. I've only watched the HBO series and I have a difficult time remember all the names and plots as it is. I'm not sure how much of the book/characters I would have retained anyway haha.

I've played quite a few games, but not for a few years. Recently started playing epicmafia again.

So, I'm guessing there's six of us in each city. Only myself and one other have checked into my city. That might be another way to gauge participation...activity in your city. I like Strike's list. Jak is active as always. (yes I was his tail in CYOC III...so I'm not too worried as he's always active. ) As long as he doesn't come out shooting N1...

Since the 1st page said "All men must die," I would like to suggest all the ladies unite and kill the men!! I've caught at least 4 of us gals so far! Just a thought if a secret alliance needs to form, girls usually can keep secrets or at least use them to their advantage.

It's been a while since I played mafia in the main forum - I mainly play in my clan (same clan as Epitaph and pretender) but it's good to branch out again and I LOVE the theme. I can't believe you haven't seen the series Epi!

Its safe to assume that virus and storr will keep us updated fairly well on vote counts. But having two tabs open shouldn't cause too much of a mess for anyone.

i like the white walkers being cult recruiters theory. from what stor had been saying before the game, he wanted to make a game where the character name wouldn't give away the faction. for example arya stark could be a serial killer.

yes the voting thread is for voting and only there you can vote, votes in this thread are not counted.
and i think it might just be easier to see voting paterns that way actually, if you have to look through posts that fill the entire screen to see who votes on whom in a 40 page topic it might just be easier to have a voting topic.

@Pancake/JAK-So coming out with the city thing is weird.
And here's why. We don't know mafia win condition, nor other win conditions of roles.
For all we know, mafia might not have known there were cities. You coming out with that might have given them a ton of information.

However, easy newbie mistake, and I'll place you as town for it.

I'll write this off as a true newbie mistake.. Do you really think EVERYONE in your city is town? This is not anything new as I am guessing we're all in a city of one or another. Do everyone a favour, do not believe everyone in your city is town. Most likely each city contains 1-2 mafia and 1-2 third party. So what you share there is NOT private.

Again, I'll write off your trusting them as a newbie mistake.

Further down, you do not need to tunnel one person, just mention that they are active. Simple enough (I see HotShot posted a bit after this btw, so my check is clear for now).

Which to HotShot's post.. cult.. In the show/book people need to die before they can be recruited... So if that is the case I'd keep an eye on "revivals".

Well I guess the cities are not a secret. I am guessing 6 people per city? If so, I think I am right 1-2 mafia, 1-2 3rd party, so potentially 2-4 people in your 6 person city are not town. Be careful who you trust and what information you give out. Storr did not claim that it was safe nor dangerous to post WHICH city we're all in, so I think I'll not say my city in the mean time.

Hmmm, without naming your cities, is there any special powers in some cities? I'm just curious if there's something special about each city or if they're all relatively the same?

That was just a rookie mistake - I'm still new to to how to play this mafia thing and need to remember to watch what words I use. Besides, mafia always know who each other are and get to talk at night - there are no secrets amongst mafia. Only secrets in THE TOWN.
