i'm upset, i tried checking neb last night and got a check back on strike instead... this is so frustrating

so right now my checks sit like this

n1 - hotshot (stannis baratheon)
n2 - Betiko (not saying yet)
n3 - Robik -> got the check on legion instead
n4 - Neb -> got check on strike instead

So Boone, you're almost certainly town because your role was probably to be used in conjunction w/ Zivel, who was town. Your check was a good one to confirm the tales that are being told, but it's really annoying that you got a check on someone who you didn't mean to check two nights in a row.

Last night I chose not to .5 kill anyone. Pancake tempted me, but he’s the claimed cop…I couldn’t do it.

Okay. Pancake has another claimed scum. I'm hesitant given his wrong investigation on me...but I think we have to test it at some point, don't we? He’s right in that it would be a stupid play as scum to claim cop.

KGB has an interesting role...and one that makes me nervous.

Betiko - did X check in with you yet? And it looks like there’s only 5 left now in Braavos.

There were many questions on who was post restricted…did you really not get that Strike was “killed” but can still post once each day? He also can’t vote. We don’t need to have people post twice to prove who it is…yikes. I guess if you haven’t read the series, you don’t know…

Hey everyone, I had to work all day yesterday, helping someone out. I will be out today too. I was hoping I would get back home in time to PM my target for the roleblock but it took longer than expected, so I didn't get the chance to roleblock anyone. In the morning I was waiting on people to come in with arguments over who I should roleblock so I didn't sent my PM right away. I understand how suspicious it makes me look and I will understand if you FOS me or even lynch me. I blame StorrZerg on this one for having such short nights.

Hey zerg, since I missed the chance to block someone, can I send my PM and the target will receive a PM even if it doesn't actually roleblocks him?

I can sympathize with the short day/night phases, I think the weekends shouldn't count towards the time but that's a discussion for another day but somebody did tell you what to do with your action...

You should have blocked someone even if you weren't getting an overall consensus from us

on 1 hand I had pancakemix telling me to block neb, on the other I had neb saying pancake is the bad one. Who do you expect me to choose without some help from an objective point of view?

Also, if I roleblock a mafia, he surely won't tell. The mafia would rather watch me go down before he goes. So I would like to ask for someone with a depleted power to tell me to roleblock him. This way we are sure that my target will testify being roleblocked and it will probe my innocence.

Read my first sentence on Pancake. Logic tells me that we should have a cop-type role in here. Despite the incorrect result on me, we have to test pancake's results. Now, he could be throwing a fellow mafia under the bus to claim town credit, but then I would have expected a counter claim to cop.

I'm getting my vote out there. Since the day ends at a predetermined time, not majority lynch, it doesn't hurt to get my required claim out there. I will most likely be here before deadline (I am now), but I don't want to see what happens if I don't vote at all.

In all seriousness, I am still trying to figure things out. One thing I feel fairly confident of is that the numbers that have been coming out of the Dreadfort do not ring true. Either Betiko's source is lying, mafia is severely outnumbered in this game or there is more than one investigation proof mafia role in this game. That said, I think we need to throw out the idea that all of King's Landing is town and that the Dreadfort is 100% not scum (from context and all, I still feel like Ninja is town because context between him and Pershy both being scum seems slim and Boone has been forthcoming with his information so I also lean town with him but I am now going with discounting a lot of the townie aspect that was given to them after Player X's revelation. Betiko as well seems pro-town to me right now). I get the feeling the reason I died is because mafia was manipulating Robik's action onto me. This would explain why when Boone targetted Neb (the target of Robik's half kill), he ended up hitting me instead. This would suggest one of two things, either mafia has a second busdriver which would seem strange or the Throne is now in their hands. The second theory would also require the presence of a mafia redirector to explain the Night 3 results for how it happened but there is also the possibility that someone targeted me with a half-kill before. Killing Zivel could have been to get a town role off the table or it could have been for the added bonus of making sure that the name claim couldn't be checked for Neb and/or PCM. Really the latter could go either way, it could be to keep PCM's fake claim from being disproven or it could have been to prevent Neb's fake claim from being disproven depending on which would be scum.

This is actually a really good point, I missed it the first time. KGB, if you know you're innocent then why haven't you killed pcm? You have more votes and are more likely to be lynched...

On your list I don't find KGB's power too much, I would think that 1 of neb or rob is mafia, which would balance things out. I could vote either way, they are both suspect to me but I am both unsure of.

pcm claims to have gotten town N3 on pretender so either:

1. He's lying. Why would a town possibly paranoid/insane cop lie? Obviously he's scum, kgb kills him, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over.

or 2. He's telling the truth. kgb blows him away, pcm is town, we lynch kgb.

I'd like to see a lynch from storm's end since we have the best ratios there for catching mafia, but I would be willing to hear a case for a lynch from braavos as well. I'm leaning towards PCM as scum. Bunnies back's Neb's claim, and both neb and kgb deny PCM's claims.

Right now I am in favor of a daykill of PCM by KGM, or a lynch of PCM. If PCM flips town, we would be able to zero in on neb and kbg (albeit, with some caution for possible mafia trickery).

PCM, can you post your investigations for all 4 nights? I'd like to see this all in one place before a final decision is made on a daykill or lynch of PCM.
