Re: BOB 5.3.0
I had to turn BOB off because it was causing my attack drop down menu to be empty at times and other times it was showing attack cities that were not adjacent to where i was located.
Re: BOB 5.3.0
Yes, BOB no longer works for me either.. In fact, no grease monkey add ons are working. I tried using chrome. I got the tamper working but cannot seem to get BOB installed to it.
Re: BOB 5.3.0
Bob was screwed up as the others have stated. un-installed it and now it won;t install at all on Firefox or chrome
Re: BOB 5.3.0
Ditto. Bob suddenly stopped working for me too. I tried to reinstall for Firefox and it won't even download the file.
What happened? What the EFFFF!!!! happened to BOB!?

Re: BOB 5.3.0

I'm moving everything to a new laptop and the link to Bob seems to be kaput ... or is it just me?

Well ... loaded Tampermonkey but cannot seem to be able to get BOB to load. Keep getting the "cannot load from this website" error.

Ummm ... never mind. "Search this topic" is a wonderful thing when properly employed.

So does the above userscript work with the latest update to Firefox? Because I had to experiment with the Firefox versions until I found that 30.0 works with BOB 5.3.0. It wasn't until I did a total uninstall and used that version that I got my stats and everything back with BOB. If anyone wants the version of Firefox I have, here it is: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org ... ases/30.0/

Pick your version (for Windows get the win32 and for Mac go to the Mac folder in whatever language you need it in). Then backup your bookmarks and uninstall Firefox. When you're done, just reinstall with the file you downloaded. I really didn't even need to backup my bookmarks or reinstall the BOB since I put it in the same location as before. But do that just in case.
If you aren't sure which one to get, this is the US-English version: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org ... 2030.0.exe
Re: BOB 5.3.0
So I installed tampermonkey on Chrome, but now have no idea where to go next to get Bob, or whatever equivalent there is for Bob on Chrome? Can someone please help?

Chrome users the exact same scripts. Both Firefox and chrome uses javascript. The difference is Dom elements properties
Http://tools.conquerclub.com (other scripts)
Http://zack.st/Userscripts (bob)
Re: BOB 5.3.0
BOB displays on the sidebar, but not in the game screen. Handy Game History also does not work. Peculiar. I use FF.
Re: BOB 5.3.0
Thank you for the help. So once I've downloaded BOB.user.js, how do I install it? Just run it, or does it have to be done from within chrome or something?

Do you have tampermonkey installed? Try clicking the link and press open in new tab.
Re: BOB 5.3.0
Yay! It worked, thank you so much! Last question - do you know if there's a "saved searches" for chrome? I looked around but wasn't able to find it. Right now I'm using FF to find my games and chrome to play them, which seems a bit absurd.
thanks!
thanks!

You would just need to find the download link for save searches. Tho its down and not available. So you could move it from Greasemonkey to tampermonkey. I'll give you directions from my memory as I don't have a computer to confirm.
1. Open Firefox.
2. Click or right click (unsure) on the monkey icon.
3. Right click on the script you want to view.
4. Mark and copy all the text.
5. Open chrome.
6. Click on the monkey.
7. Click add new script (should open a window with green "background"
8. Paste the copied text.
9. Press save (floppy icon)
Re: BOB 5.3.0
There is no need to uninstall Firefox to downgrade to v30.0!
Simply download v30.0 from http://www.oldapps.com and install it on top of v31.0 (or any other version you may have installed).
All bookmarks, add-ons and scripts transfer automatically.
Much easier than backing up your bookmarks, copying scripts and anything else.
Go into Firefox Tools, Options, Advanced, Update tab, and turn off Automatic updates. (I think that was mentioned... sortof)
