on the subject of disrespect for players. This is what I posted in junes forum.

During the St.Paticks day contest if you collected 44 clovers you received a G.A. medal and if you collected 88 clovers you received a challenge medal.2 medals for those who collected 88 clovers. The May challenge medals have been given out and even though The scoreboard said 50 pts G.A. medal,150pts. challenge medal, only 1 medal was given to those with 150pts.This is also going to happen to Junes medal challenge.only the 1 medal.I would have only played for the G.A. medal if I knew I was only getting one. I would have instead played my random games,I would have platinum in it by now instead I ended up wasting my time this past 2 months for a challenge medal instead of a G.A. medal. when you cant trust the wording on a website it becomes a deal breaker as to weather you want to continue with the website.

I really do wish Big wham would look at this and correct a wrong.

yes, the not getting of multiple medals like it appeared was going to happen is bullshit. I don't understand why we didn't. is one type of medal more prestigious than another? what was even the purpose? I was trying to get 2 medals, or I wouldn't have let my score get tanked to do so if I had known I was only getting one.. im very disappointed about that....

Something to think about in another month is limiting the number of games somebody can create or join. To obtain a green star because you can play in 400 active games at 1 time doesn't necessarily mean you deserve it or the best. Anyway to give a reward on the % of games won in a challenge with a set number of games played or set score as the minimum?

Just to clarify... a Doubles game is a 4-player game, but doesn't count for this, right?

EDIT: Actually I rechecked the scoreboard and you only need 50 points for a challenge medal. They did change it. ;)
But win percentage would indeed be a great way to award rare stars provided that they also meet the 50 point requirement.

Also what the hell? People are seriously whining over not being allowed to use bots. That's common sense. I knew you could play with more than one bot, but I never would have thought it would be allowed in any kind of tournament to begin with. No one should have to make rules about that, but I guess it's necessary. Beating CC's drunken cook bots is definitely not an achievement.

Where has anyone claimed it's an achievement? I'll clarify for you; nowhere. It's just an easier way to get these medals, which until very recently had been changed so it's all about quantity. It also allows you to avoid playing pricks like JR24.

It's not a tournament, either.

Presumably, I can create a tournament and then halfway through change the rules and that's okay then? There should be no punishment if I decide that a player loses the semi-finals because I don't like them. Happy days.

JR24 is not a bot You might find him as easy to beat as a bot, but he's still not a bot. :P

This is all about some dumb coloured star now, not even a medal. Sure, I agree as I said in my above post that how those are awarded could use a change to be fair to people who are actually playing well rather than just starting a bunch of games and half playing them. the challenge medal has been made fair this time around.

Not sure what you're getting at here. I called him a prick, not a bot..

I completely agree. The challenges started out well, then became totally crap when bW took them over. Now that DY is back in charge I saw promise they would once again improve, but July has proven otherwise.

The sites for fun the challenge is meant to give an exciting edge to cc. I love the extra monthly challenges. They all have been fun trying to get to the achievement stage. It's not about gettings stars and to win,it's self satisfaction to play win and met the objectives. Simple as that. So players whinging aren't here for fun and maybe should seek the monetary gains of winning from casinos,at least they are real prizes. The only thing I reckon needs fixing is to maybe cap the amount of games each player can enter to gain the achievement.

I've enjoyed the July Challenge. Of course, not everybody will.

Yeah, I don't think it's fair to keep lashing out on the admin. Sure, he made a mistake maybe, but he was trying to make the CA kinda difficult to achieve, but didn't account for the fanatics who would play gazillions of games. Of course it wasn't the best solution and I am sure he knows that. The only way you can learn that things don't work as intended is to try them out.

Personally, I think the whac-a-mod had a great format (and that was all bW's idea.) Okay, it wasn't the best choice against mods since we weren't able to facilitate everyone with 40 games that wanted 40 games. We're just players as well with lives, and it'll need tweaking for next year. However, for something like these challenges, it could work and that's why I mentioned the highest win percentage of those who meet initial requirements should maybe get stars. WaM rewarded people for good gameplay and that's what I liked about it. In order to be heard, I think you have to put things across without calling people out. It's like when you stand in a room and shout at someone in anger, they will shout back and won't actually hear what point you're trying to bring about. They just hear shouting and retaliate. Same with typing online, they just get angry and don't read any further and think.. "feck him/her." Yet if you speak to them in a respectful manner, there is some chance of getting them to at least think about what you're trying to say. Just sayin.

Tried talking in a respectful manner plenty of times, it doesn't get anywhere, especially not with people like DY. Calling people out and being vulgar won't get anywhere either, but I get to vent a bit that way at least. The people in charge have stopped listening to those that play the game.

Well I think introducing Bots to this website was a recipe for disaster and I'm watching everything fall apart.

Game 14612595

Why did I not win a bronze token for this?

It was on the list of qualifying games.

Game 14593479
The settings do not match those required for the game to count for the challenge, (for example only four player games count) check the first post for which settings are required.

Gosh, b00060 has quite a few points. It would be a shame if people kept joining his games.

I have several up for those looking to get meet the General Achievement requirements.

These challenges are in need of an overhaul. You literally have to play a thousand games to keep up with the original gangstas.

Wrong settings. That game is foggy. The settings for this challenge are sunny (no fog.)
