Auto Tournament - Weird elimination

Post by PaRKoN »

Could someone tell me why I've been eliminated from this tourney? http://www.conquerclub.com/player.php?m ... y_id=10206

I got the same wins than others players that made the final and I don't see any tiebreak rule. Was it just random?

Ties in Score shall be broken by the following rules, applied in order:
Percentage of wins in the tournament as a whole
The cumulative number of Game rounds required to win the games they have won in the tournament (winning in less rounds is better)
The order in which the player joined the tournament (first player to join wins)

What is the tiebreak for these tourneys
I'm in one now where 7 of us are tied on wins, but not all can advance to last 16.
nowhere does it say how the computer decides

I searched, found this post, clicked the link to the Auto-tourney rules...
and now I finally understand how ties are handled.

One important detail...
Is there a way to tell who joined the tournament first??
I'm in a tourney round that could end with a 2-4 way tie.

That's really lame in tournaments that haven random maps and settings. One get penalized for getting stuck on a large map with trench when others don't.
