Me too. I did horribly on the first map. Somewhat better on the second.

Do you have an idea as to when the scores will be updated for round 2. - Are there still games that have to finish first?

No rush. Id just like my pitiful score to be a little less embarrassing ;-)
PM me for an invite to Ikariam, a balanced strategy MMORPG centered on a city-based empire. Help and extra resources from me and an extra tradships and a small science bonus to both of us if you do :-)

There are still 14 active games on Map 2.

However, that is not the limiting factor. To be honest, I had planned to do a partial update last weekend based on the games types that were finished, but I just ran out of time. Sometimes weekends have a mind of their own, and there's never enough hours in a day.

I will get a score update next weekend for sure, but maybe even sooner if I can find some time mid-week. That's not likely, but sometimes it happens. But the weekend for sure.

subprime has missed 3 invites and is eliminated. Purposeful 1 is drafted to fill the vacancy this round.

Okay, tonight I have done a partial score update for Map 2.

What is included:
1v1 (Type 1) Terminators (Type 3) Assassins (Type 4) and Doubles (Type 7)

What is not included:
Standards (Type 2) and Polymorphs (Types 5 & 6) which still have some active games in each category.

Map 3 Type 2 will be going out soon...:)

[player]gochisox2004[/player] appears to have left the building. Drafting iAmCaffeine as a replacement.

Yes. See Post 1 for the "Conscription Rule" and Post 3 for the "Player Order for the Draft."

The Conscription Rule was originally created just to balance out the size of games, but it has proven itself to be enormously useful in covering for players who drop out unexpectedly. I guess I never explicitly said so when I expanded the role of the Conscription Rule, but it's a natural extension, not in any way incompatible with the original intention.

So how will this affect scoring?

As described in conscription rule. You get the better of your two scores, but not both. Win one game, you score 3 points. Win both games and you still only score 3 points, nothing extra. The bonus to you is that you get two chances at a win.

Updated scores to reflect all Map 1 and Map 2 games.

Current leaderboard:
stealth99 36
subprime 36
Silly Knig-it 35
giannikas 33
BarkingAjax 32
callmenorcal 32
Mishalex 32
GioDuce 31
shoop76 31
Mad777 30
Vaicius 30
Erland 28
slickstick 28
theheadholes 28
D-Rock42 26
hlbart 26
badmunkay 25
Chris98 25
Andypl0nd0n 24
iAmCaffeine 24
sempaispellcheck 23
G0rgatr0n 22

Ironically enough, [player]subprime[/player] who dropped out of the tournament is still tied for first place. (That should change soon as map 3 results start getting posted.)

Anyway, thought you'd all like to see who was leading after map 2 was finished.

Map 3, type 6 games are imminent. For sure within 24 hours, probably sooner.

Huge number of players missed their first invite into Map 4, Type 1:
[player]ProsthoDoc[/player], [player]Gilligan[/player], [player]ziggy62[/player], [player]Vaicius[/player], [player]loenatiek[/player], and [player]gemini1512[/player].

Most of these have been re-sent. However, ProsthoDoc and Vaicius have not been online since Septemeber and are now removed. The player list is down to 53; 9 players have been removed since we began. Not that bad, actually, considering the general decline in the player base.

Incidentally, all Scotland games have now finished and are ready to score. I'm not sure when I'll get around to it. Might be almost a week, but I will try for sooner if possible.

Looks like patrick1234321 and GioDuce have left the building.

Paws1610 and overlander are conscripted to play extra games this round.
