Quite frusterating.
Well I am not sure how to achieve what I want, but so far my experience on this website has been far from pleasant. All I want to do is make a game and have my friends easily join it. We are all new to this website but not new to risk. Please tell me how I can setup a game the way I want to and then get my friends in the game.

this site has had alot of changes to it that would make it difficult to learn everything quickly. so you'll probably need some patience to get through all the stuff that may be confusing to you. i think you need to be a premium to invite players, which costs money. you can pay like 4 or 5 bucks i think to try it out for a month. which you may consider. once you get through all the bull you may find that it's a pretty good site.
if you want to just play a game with your friends, probably you need to all be online to join at the same time.
play the classic map,
use the settings; standard, sequential, chained, no special gameplay, (escalating, flat rate, or no spoils) thats pretty much the standard settings. you just need to pick how many players you want to play.
