Tournament Privileges have been granted, and games will be created and sent shortly! The link in the second post brings you to the Scoreboard for the tournament, which will be updated as the tournament progresses.
A note for the tournament setup: I realised that the tournament accommodates any number of players for each round without me having to divide it into 4- and 5-player groups. As such, ALL rounds (other than the Finals) will consist of five 5-player games. This shouldn't be a problem, since this was one of the 2 initial stated game sizes.
Additionally, since the format now accommodates even as few as 7 players in a round, no tiebreaker will be used in that scenario to decide the Finalists; play will carry on as per normal. Instead, if the number of qualifying players in any round is less than 4, a tiebreaker will be used to determine which of the last eliminated players will qualify as a finalist.
Feel free to clarify if you are unsure about any of these changes!
Finally, if your game has been created with the wrong home map, do NOT join the game, and let me know so I can create a replacement game. Failure to inform me before Round 3 of the game will result in no replacement game. Good luck in Round 1! (:
Just waiting on our last 2 games to finish up - both on huge maps (Hive and Conquer Man), which came up through the Random maps.
At this point, 13 players have been eliminated from the tournament, while 4 more have their fates hanging in the balance as they fight for their last chance to clinch a win for this round.
Also, it seems 15 of the 34 players that have secured their spots in Round 2, have done so while winning on their home maps, giving them immunity for subsequent rounds. That's close to half of the players. Looks like the immunities might play a huge factor in keeping people in the tournament after all!
Round 2 games will be sent once the final 2 games are complete! Thanks for your patience!
We still have 1 game running in Round 1 (the dreaded Hive), but I've decided to send out most of the games for Round 2 first, so we can get some of the games moving along - 31 of the 36 have now been sent out.
As there still are 2 players that may or may not progress based on the final game, I've not sent out the invites for the games that would possibly involve either one of them. As such, don't be alarmed if you haven't received your full supply of 5 games - the rest should come when the last game is completed!
Good luck!
EDIT (9 May): Hive has finally ended, so all remaining games have been sent out. If you haven't received all 5 games by now, please let me know!
I just had a moment to review this thing to see where i stood etc. and I am impressed with the creativity and tourney format. It's not easy to produce these things in a creative way and have it all work out the way you'd like. I commend those who try and in this case it appears this thing will work out just as you hoped. Thanks again. Nice job.
Sorry, I've had to suspend my campaigns indefinitely.

Thanks for the kind words! I hope you're enjoying the tournament (:
As with the previous round, I've sent out invites for majority of the games for Round 3, despite there being 3 remaining ongoing games from Round 2. Games possibly involving any of the 3 players with their fates in limbo, have yet to be sent out, so don't panic if you haven't received your full game load just yet.
Currently, we have 27 players that are guaranteed a spot in Round 3, based on wins or immunities. As you might have realised, it'll be harder to eliminate players from the tournament henceforth, largely due to the immunities. The only way to increase the chances of eliminating your opponents is to win multiple games per round!
The remaining games for Round 3 have now been sent out, as the final eliminations for Round 2 have been set in stone.
7 players were eliminated from the tournament based in Round 2 performance. 28 players remain to battle it out in Round 3, though only 13 of them can actually be eliminated this round, as the rest still hold on to their immunities from previous rounds. Interestingly, the player with the most wins, JPlo64, still has not gained immunity; while only 4 players in the tournament have won more than 1 game per round thus far.
First bunch of games for Round 4 have been sent out. As with previous rounds, the remainder of the games will be sent out as the results of the last games of Round 3 come in.
There are now 23 players still confirmed to be in the tournament, while 2 more have their fates hanging in the balance. Of these, more than half the players have immunities, so it'll definitely take a while to whittle down the competition. Remember, the finals only start once we have 6 or less players remaining!
Round 4 began with 23 players, and now draws to a close with a guaranteed 17 players, with 3 more with their fates in the balance, based on the last 3 ongoing games of Round 4.
During the round, stevkov's premium expired, and as he has no plans to renew his premium subscription, has thus dropped out of the tournament. However, since his performance in Round 4 would have allowed him to progress to Round 5, considered an eliminated player from Round 5.
First batch of games of Round 5 have been sent out, though admittedly it isn't much. Only 8 of the possible 20 have been sent out - since the 3 uncertain players are in a large percentage of the round's games. So don't worry if you haven't received many (or any) games yet!
EDIT: All games for Round 5 have now been sent out, with only 17 players left in the tournament. JPlo64 stands as the player with the most wins so far with 10 wins, while iAmCaffeine and grt are tied in second with 8 wins each. While total wins are only used for tiebreakers, having more than 1 win causes another player to lose their immunity / get eliminated, so it's always something to aim for!
