Rodion and josko.ri will be withdrawing from this tournament after this round, as josko recovers from an illness.
I'm sure I speak for all of CC in wishing a full and speedy recovery to one of the site's best players.

So is that a free pass for gambler21210 and jghost7 despite winning 1 of the first set of 10? Or do the top 4 teams excluding josko's advance? :?

The top 4 teams (minus Rodion and josko) advance.

I have to say this is not a very clear answer to the question. rodion team only needed 1 win to advance and would have achieved that easily i think all would agree on this. now they have to forfeit 9 games are you going to be awarding the team that had no shot at getting in those 9 point? that would give them the win and let them advance. those 9 wins that they did not earn will put them ahead of other teams that played better. it also gives the team that would end up playing them a better chance to advance to the final round playing a weaker opponent.

i myself would like a bit of clarity on this rather than a blanketed statement that could mean just about anything pending on were you are sitting.

OK. Let me try to be clearer.
This is not a bracket.
Yes, matchups are set up as if it were, but at the end of this round, the four best total scores will advance, regardless of seeding.
Rodion and josko's opponents will not receive wins for games they did not actually win.

okay that cleared that up just fine but now i am confused on just normal advancement. i was under the impression that we had to beat our opponents 10 out of 19 to move to the next round. if your saying best records move on doesn't that give teams an advantage over other teams? are we not trying to take out the luck factor and find the best over all team is that why we are not playing so many games at the end of all of this. granted there are only 4 or 5 games difference at this point but there can be as much as 10 or 13 in the final 4. that gives 1 or 2 team a enormous advantage over the other 2 teams

Due to the fact that an odd number of games are sent out the tournament at this point would function the same as a bracket if teams did not leave as 1 team would always reach a threshold of winning over 50% of the games in each pair making that team advance and their opponent not advance. So had Josko and Rodion not withdrawn there would be no difference.

This situation also brings up an interesting case of tiebreakers. It's possible 2 teams could tie for 5th. In that case would head to head or overall tournament record be considered?

Shame it's looking like we won't get the front page treatment that 1v1 and Triples got... :(

I didn't know that was going to be a thing.
I'll headline the winners.

I'm in disbelief here. I never figured that we'd make it to the finals in a dice based game let alone win. I give 50% credit to Swifte.

Congratulations to Swifte and cooldeals, truly deserving Champions!
Prizes should be awarded shortly.

Not sure why the autotourney page is not showing you guys at the top, where you should be, but bigWham should be able to fix that.

You put the lime in the coconut and drink it all up!

Good job, gentlemen!
