It's cause Marashu is role hunting off clues. Hencewhy endgame died and how quickly he count the clue after he died.

I'm town, which is why he can't see me as scummy, even though all he can come up with flavor is sketchy stuff and isn't willing to press me on it.

Even if he is hunting a certain way, it isn't like you were an inactive character. The vote trading was a big thing, and it wouldn't have been hard to try and figure out something off of that. I am not saying he would have been right either way, but to neglect entirely doesn't make sense.

Talk about a leap and out of context  . I'm not about to rehash this again for the day. I fully plan on attempting to visit someone else to see what happens. But just because you didn't get the answer you liked doesn't mean you didn't get an answer. Don't ask a question if you expect a certain response. Just make the accusation.

This deadline is fast approaching who and and how many are we going to have visit storr? A couple one shots could come in handy though the longer they don't get used the more likely scenario they won't live until tomorrow to get them sent off. I'd prefer we have the names of players visiting before the day visit happens otherwise afterwards all we will do is argue with one another because no one was really clear to begin with who we wanted visiting to begin with. And then the scum calling and finger pointing happens again.

I am curious though. And maybe the guys who already got a storr action can confirm. Were you limited to just using your one shot ability you received? I think in some capacity everyone in this game is capable of some action or another. I was trying to see if the one shot ability takes place of your normal night action or if you get both to use at night or whenever

"Curious" eh? Trying to find out if we are VT's or power roles? And conveniently missing the deadline so you don't have to visit anyone today? FOS on talapus, will be looking into him at more depth later.

Rish told us day one when day actions were due and sent out pm's reminding to get them in. Granted flying for a whole day straight I practically missed it. But I have yet to hear if this has even happened yet as I have seen no post from rish requesting action. And no not at all, I think everyone in this game has a role or ability to use at night. We all get one in day so why would night be different? I mentioned it and storr clearly answered that the vig ability wouldn't override your normal ability but might replace it for just that night. That's pretty damn important considering we may have some better power roles out there. I would hate one of those people visiting and using a shot in the dark like vig over something that may help fight back against cult or something.

I never said it replaced your ability. You just get to pick which one use that night.

I know, that's what I meant. But yes it would still have to use that hit instead of your other ability.

And ya Rish said that night but still have seen nothing either way so am not sure what is going on. RL must be happening...lol

All Day Actions apart from 2 have been received. Will take a day or two to get Results back. Busy IRL

Which brings us back to votes. Why would a doc, cop, tracker, watcher ect sacrifice their vote in order to do somthing else? So if a protective role takes the vig ability they can either do one or the other but not both, which begs the question why would a player do this?

In essence all they are doing is giving you their vote.

Going back again i feel like mets makes a good point. The fact that Marashu doesn't even bring up the possibility that flavorwise storr could be a bad guy seems odd. Even bringing up the point about seeing the flavor as a mafia role cop but acknowledging storr could be bad as a trader would have made sense.

Marashu wrote:Hmm. It really depends on what he got out of it. I can only think of one town-aligned character who could do that but it would be really weird for that character to do it, but there's also that 3rd party I mentioned who, if you take something from them, they corrupt you, so it's more likely to be that if not the actual mafia. But I don't know why a 3rd party would get a vote stealer.

Unless it's also the kind of thing where one character interacted with a specific character, which caused that reaction (and the person who controls your vote wouldn't control anyone else's). If it's town, flavour-wise it's either a warder bond (likely town), a gift from Mordeth (scum/3rd party), or some weird character dynamic. But I'm more inclined to believe it's one of the first two.

I did, though at the time a) I didn't know it was Storr, and b) I was pretty convinced that Storr was town and therefore the interaction was from the role I thought he had at the time and was less likely to be the scum flavour. It didn't make sense to me for Storr to be a trader AND a role cop AND have day actions, which is why I left that out. Also, going back into flavour, TECHNICALLY Mordeth and Fain aren't the same person yet - Mordeth would likely have some sort of special win condition for people taking his stuff, but Fain wouldn't, so vote stealing as a win condition wouldn't make sense (though the shadow wins through ambition, so fain earning votes for the shadow would make sense, especially if he's able to get some trust with it early on).

As for the role hunting, I am doing that. It's very clear that the day visits give results based on character interactions, so I'm trying to find characters my own would be interacting with. I did miss End's until after it was too late.

Storr, you say you confirmed that today was a vig action - was the item you are trading set by the mod, or did you request that (and have control over your daily wares)?

I don't know how items are set. It could be a result of my day action, it could be random from the mod.

Skimmed through the last few pages to catch up. Need to go back and reread more thoroughly before I make a good post, but from what I read I am still in favor of lynching Storr, still don't believe he's town. Will reread soon and make a decision.

That can't have been very surprising since you missed the first one and apologized for doing so.

didnt want to say who i visited since i was afraid things might be disrupted or something, but visited talapus (no surprise there?) today and notting happened.

i have 3 people on my possible scum list for now. not counting mtam, who in my opinion might just aswell be replaced.

- i am surprised by dd being inactive then just saying i want to vote storr, but admitting to not have caught up, so he doesnt really know what he is doing. thus scummy, but just based on d2. havent digged up d1 on him.
- tonka is being mysterious for no apparent reason to me. he votes marashu for a case i dont really get/agree with. and found this contradicting:
got tonkaed wrote:Because I am not a mafia member. Mafia players overread situations to try and bandwagon.

got tonkaed wrote:I don't disagree about what you are saying about wagons but it is not like there is a huge sample size. I didn't really have much to wagon on early d1 and I don't really think wagoning in the jokey voting phase matters much anyway.

- and last but not least; talapus, seriously i want a claim from him. issnt here, talks about mechanics, isnt giving reads. he hides like hell. in the spoiler his 3 posts of this day to illustrate not helping much in my opinion.

vote talapus

show

i know im not a big poster myself and that thats not always appreciated but i feel like one post with opinions is worth more then 3 posts discussing game mechanics.
