I assume we choose a map we're familiar with a write a guide for that. What if someone else in this topic also wants to write the guide for that particular map? Will it be written by both?
I have knowledge I can share about some maps, but who will keep an eye on what I write? I'm a stand up guy (take my word for it!), so I'll write it to the best of abilities, but not everyone might.
Also, if someone (perhaps even a mod) disagrees with the strategy written in my guide and of which I am positive it is the best possible strategy for that map, then what?
These are just questions out of curiosity and to figure out how this idea will be taken into action.

Some guides will no doubt be collaborations.
When this was done in the past, there were debates and votes taken, and each guide came up with only one final version. However, I don't think that's necessary. I think it perfectly acceptable for a guide to read something like the following:
Gallipoli guide wrote:Strategists differ in their ideas about the importance of Kum Kale. Here are some views on the subject:[spoiler=view 1]
author 1 wrote:I think nothing exceeds the importance of Kum Kale on the Gallipoli map. At all costs devote all your troops to the south until Kum Kale is secure. Even though you may suffer heavily, your opponent will too, and the one who ends up holding Kum Kale will eventually win the game.

author 2 wrote:Kum Kale is largely a red herring. By all means use it if you happen to start with it, but if you do not, then don't waste any troops in a futile quest to capture it. While others are bleeding themselves dry in the struggle for the south, you will be quietly occupying the rest of the map
