Jigs Roman Poly Dubs [Winner: Junior Bee]

Post by jigger1986 »

Greeting Fellow CC Tournament Enthusiasts!!

Looking to host a poly tourney with a Roman theme;

16 players (all poly 2 games)
Each player picks a home map and settings (can be anything linked to Roman/Italian history, if it is obscure sell me on the map, i know a fair bit about Roman history. I however, have the option to reject the choice if it is too out there)
If you choose trench, there will be a 20 round limit. If no stats are chosen CC defaults will be selected
Each round will be best of 3, home/away/neutral
The neutral map will be Italy with CC default stats
Reserves taken for round 1 only, failure to join will result in forfeits and buys (until the finals)

Is this a straight single elimination tournament? It seems that it is.

Map: Malta

Malta, located south of Sicily, is where Saint Paul (author of many letters in the New Testament) is said to have been shipwrecked. Saint Paul was a Roman citizen.

sounds good.Can I have Napoleonic Europe? A critical time in Italian history as they were basically a puppet of France until the Congress of Vienna in 1814 when they began the road to Italian unification...

To be honest, I am a bit surprised about your question. Did you ever hear about Gala Placidia, Trajanus or Adrianus? Iberia was the Greek name of what afterwards was named Hispania (land of rabbits) by the roman a fenitian name. If I am not wrong, Iberia (Hispania) belonged to the Roman Empire for seven centuries. Catalan, Portuguese, Galician and Spanish happen to be latin languages...
