Rank and linguistic control is too strong in this one for that to hold true.

1 .For starters, a complete revamp from the ground up. Bring it into the 22nd century!
2. Revamp the point system.

Well since it would be a complete rebuild, it would start from the basement and working up. duh! If it's a complete and total revamp from the ground up, where would you start!?

Hmm, probably a site ethos- a statement of what the site wants to be, at its core combined with a mission statement, if you like. Kind of a standard way to start a business plan.

But hey, that's just a suggestion.

I don't know what that is. Is it a hipster.bs.cool doc mission statement about how the "new mission statement" is "no mission statement"?

When I go shopping for example, I go to this supermarket that only sells organic, local or (if not local) fair trade stuff.

I'm guessing so, as mission statements are dismissed as being too "boardroom".

Heads up folks, successful businesses have boardrooms.

Business plans don't require frozen yogurt bars, brah.

I work for a place that has mission statements, and revises it on a regular basis. It doesn't change anything, its management paying lip service to concerns at best, and is a poor use of pretty much everyones time.

Isnt that a little too advanced?

I doubt my hardware will run an app that is designed for the 22nd century.

Dukasaur will have to wait until the 23rd century before he can run it

I say no thank you. I'll be happy sticking with a website from the late 20th century!

Yes from the ground up.

Since the internet isn't really affected by gravity, where is the ground you are starting up from? do you mean like the bottom of my computer screen up to the top? If so, might I recommend you revamp the site from the top down instead?

Rules will be tighter. For example, promoting other gaming sites will not be permitted. But, there will be regional socials and conventions. It is the social element that keeps people interested.

And the junk maps like 20xx lawn dart championship brackets... With nonsensical attack lines... will be retired to a page of misfit maps, so that random maps will remain fun.

You can wager more or fewer points on a game, if all players agree.
