TeamCC challenges you once again, to carve the best pumpkin CC has ever seen!

Rules:

• You must use the images below!
• You can submit up to 3 entries of any combination
• You cannot resize the image
• All entries must be PMed to [player]Razorvich[/player] by CC Time: 2016-10-31 23:59:59
• PLEASE No GIF files

How-To:
1. Right-click the image and select "Save As"
2. Open the image with an image editing software such as PAINT, GIMP or Photoshop and use that software to create your pumpkin
3. Upload your pumpkin to a image hosting site such as Photobucket.com
4. PM your pumpkin to [player]Razorvich[/player] with subject "Pumpkin"

All those freemium guys that winge about not having enough credits to buy premium... well I was basicly THROWING the credits at you here...

Maybe a more productive thing to do would be to ask why more people didn't enter, what you could do better/different next year that people would be more interested in, rather than to just call your users pathetic?

Exactly. I was the one who wanted a pumpkin carving event, and Razorvich wanted it to last 24h. I urged him to make it last longer and yet I didn't manage to create a pumpkin. Yes, so pathetic.

On the other hand, why did I had to ask for a pumpkin event in the first place? If you ask me, that is pathetic...

It's one of only 3 announcements in the Announcements forum. It's featured in the left-nav headlines. It went out on the Twitter feed and the Facebook page. Don't know how much more prominent it could get.

Oh, I know! We could publish a newsletter and drop it in people's mailboxes! But then, some people might complain and call it spam....

Or maybe, we could have parallel announcements in the General Discussion forum. But then, some people might complain and call it spam.....

Greetings CC. I have recieved a lot of P.M.s concerning my post (more than recieved for the actual event LOL) and feel I must explain and clear the air.

Last year, everyone had 3 days to come up with a pumpkin, and I recieved so many P.M.s that I actually lost one of the entries.

The main complaint last year was that the pumpkin sucked... so this year there were options.

This year you had 5 days. It was never the intention as Dakky has suggested for this to be a 24Hr event. Chat was thinking about a 24hr thing, but with timezones, it clashed with me here in Australia and the Melbourne Cup, so was not an option in the end.

The September Challenge took 3 weeks to put together, was hard and judged as such by the community to be bordering on the "TOO HARD TO CARE".

This Event took 1 night to put together, EXTREMELY simple... and nothing.

My whole intention for my post was to draw attention to the fact that there are other things happening here, other than just us killing each other on the battlefield for Score, Credits and Medals.

If I have offended anyone with my post I appologize

What this does highlight is the lack of an OFFICIAL Events Calender, which I am already working on for 2017

see, those are both very poor ideas that have failed in the past. and let's not forget we have a 75yr old member running the FB page, whom is confounded by the drop in likes, etc...

now, how about a BANNER like the good ol days to promote events?!?! or how about you guys fly a sig for a few weeks before the event, with a link in it to click on and go to the event?!! i know those have worked in the past, vs. the 2 sarcastic suggestions i quoted above...-Bj
