------It's called a SURRENDER BUTTON...You don't wave the white flag of resign on the battlefield...I think the person winning should have the chance to accept or deny the beaten foe's plea for mercy...When the loser hits the button...
...Plow...go to announcements it's all there...

Haha there already is one for trench speed games. It's supposed to be tested on the speed games before they decide whether to roll it out to all games i think? but idk lol 24 hour games need it way more than speed games

What made you think of this now? I mean aside from the fact that there is in fact a resign button, your last speed game was a month and a half ago.
What we need now is in games where the resign button is in place, deadbeaters lose double points for deadbeating on or after round 9.
It happens a bit and its just rude

It's because he and i were in a trench game. At least it had a round limit but the most depressing thing you can do is play through 10 rounds with virtually zero chances of winning especially when you just want to get it over and done with and move on to another game. But what does it matter when his last speed games was? At least on a speed game even without the resign option you can concede by deadbeating and it'd be over in 15 mins but for casual games it's at least a 72 hour thing

The Resign button has already been released. It is limited to certain game settings but from my understanding, could see its use expanded further, depending on how the button is used. The main concern is that the site doesnt want to see the resign button abused.
We will just have to see where it goes from here.

Re: we need a resign button
What we need is a damn resign button though, you guys. This way we could opt out of games that would otherwise have taken forevs.

Many people have suggested a resign button for many years. You are welcome to take 0.147% of the credit.
