Nice idea :)

Who knows, maybe we can muster some muster for a war in a few months. Will be unlikely that TOFU can commit to several wars though, so for those who are very interested in meeting us, I would suggest sending cat exceptionally large bouquets of roses, adjacent with the cutest kittie adorned cards money can buy. Said cards should contain eloquent poems about why she should pick your clan to sink her claws into on the field of battle.
PM me for her home address.
Screw roses, and just send catnip.

PS, was surprised to see KoTM was that old, otherwise no surprises on either maps or settings.

Won't this have a negative impact on the desire to have more real wars run within the clan area?
If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through

Potentially, but this year the focus is on 10 year celebrations. Part of those celebrations is to get back to having fun!
New things, difficult challenges, interesting twists...real wars are good, rankings are good, but perhaps people enjoying themselves
and breaking out of the norm will be more beneficial for now.

Who knows, clans are free to participate here and get double tickets or choose to go the bigger route of a ranked pick up war for two clan raffle tickets and singular player tickets.
I dont want to steer people to something specific, I just want them to do something they feel will be fun :)
So I'm trying to provide people with avenues for accomplishing that.

This is a unique event where you can get priv's for smaller than usual, unranked wars on predefined maps and settings associated with our
10 year clan anniversary and possibly get something nice in the end just for having fun. Its a lot different then prestigeous events and big rank implications on
difficult maps and settings with very talented teams as opponents.

Cheers

Love the idea, but don't really get this. I don't consider it fun unless something is on the line besides bragging rights.

The way I looked at it was you can always at any point play a regular war that's ranked. But you can't always play unranked wars which is part of the unique twist of the event. And for those like you who want ranked mini wars, you just got to find someone agreeable to it.

But this allows clans that normally might not play vs one another do so in a fun / unique environment here

LHDD will participate too.
Anyone interested in facing us feel free to pm.
We'd rather face a clan we don't face very often.

Can this initiative be formed as a tournament with Medals for winners?

I like idea of Mini Cup 4 being kind of this tournament, we are eager to join.

Are we under any restrictions regarding map usage, besides only using those available 10 years ago? For example, if a clan so chooses, can they use just 2 maps for all 10 of their home games?

The event has no restrictions for it (for example if clans wanted to do an all doodle or all KOTM war under this event it would fit) but clans are free to negotiate some sort of further restriction like max 1 per map or 2 per map etc.

I just wanted to leave it open for people to get creative.
