This tournament did not generate as much interest as I would have hoped and was taking much too long to fill. Sorry!


A brilliant and kind young scientist creates a prototype for a time machine. Thinking to save the world from the horrors of World Wars I and II, he decides that the first trip the time machine will help him make will be to prevent the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand by Gavrilo Princip and interrupt the chain of events that resulted in those horrific wars.

However, the time machine does not work as planned. While the young scientist’s body arrives in June of 1914, his mind and soul do not. He has been transformed into an unfeeling and mindless zombie. Tragically, not only does he fail to prevent the World Wars, he unleashes a far greater plague on humanity: zombies.

This tournament takes you through WWI, WWII, and a giant Zombie World War. The tournament will have 36 players and three rounds. In rounds 1 and 2, the 12 players with the worst scores are eliminated. Round 3 is a single 12 player game whose winner wins the tournament. Premium players only because more than four games will be required to be played simultaneously in rounds 1 and 2.

Scores are determined as follows:
Win: +1
First eliminated: -1
Tie breakers: Winning in the fewest number of rounds, then the number of unique kills
Score reset each round

Round 1: WWI, 9 games simultaneously, 4 players per game, 50 round limit
Settings: Zombie spoils, fog, trench, automatic deployment, chained reinforcements
Maps randomly assigned from the following list: Trench Warfare, Austro-Hungarian Empire, Europe 1914, Magyarorszag, Transsib 1914, WWI Gallipoli, WWI Ottoman Empire

Round 2: WWII, 6 games simultaneously, 4 players per game, 50 round limit
Settings: Zombie spoils, no fog, no trench, automatic deployment, unlimited reinforcements
Maps will be randomly chosen from the following list: D-day Omaha Beach, Pearl Harbor, Stalingrad, Soviet Union, WWII Ardennes, WWII Australia, WWII Eastern Front, WWII Europe, WWII Gazala, WWII Western Front, WWII Iwo Jima, WWII Poland

Round 3: WWZ, 1 game, 12 players, no round limit
Settings: Zombie spoils, fog, no trench, automatic deployment, unlimited reinforcements
Map: World 2.1

iAmCaffeine-I'll put a 50 round limit for the WWI and WWII rounds of the game, because they potentially could drag on forever. The last WWZ round I want to leave open and just let people duke it out for as long as it takes.

I'm not in, sorry. The final would literally take months, so would the other two rounds even with 50 round limits.

iAmCaffeine-The satisfaction of completing the tournament will be sweeter if the struggle is greater. I personally find hard fought victories more satisfying than quick ones, but I understand your point of view. We'll soldier on without you.
