Standard Mafia Rules:

• We are always right. Do not try and argue with us. However, we are all human and we all make mistakes. We will try and fix any mistakes we may have made.
• Do not edit/delete previous posts. Whatever you say goes into historical record.
• Do not quote any PM's you receive from the moderators or another player. You may say your name, role, associated abilities. This is a serious offence and could earn you a mod-kill, and/or a blacklist from future games.
• The game will not be discussed outside this thread, unless your role specifically says you can.
• All ‘votes’ and ‘unvotes’ must be in bold, red letters. If they are not, they will not be tallied. (I.E. Vote: bestRiskplayer1337). You must first unvote and then vote to change your vote from someone.
• Lynching requires a majority of the town vote. Once the majority has been reached, any unvotes will not be counted.
  The majority is half the player's alive +1.
• You may vote ‘no lynch’ to end the day without a death.
• Lengths of days depends on us. Usually they are indefinite until the game starts dragging, and then there will be an enforced deadline.
• Lengths of nights depend on us. Try and send the actions earlier if possible, addressed to both of us. We will try to have 48 hour nights mainly.
• Once your death scene has been posted, it's over for you. You can no longer post anything related to the game. Whining is alright, **Voices from beyond the grave** are alright, as long as nothing of substance is revealed. This means you can post something like "Damn you mafia!" or "Oh well. Go town!" but you cannot post and add to the discussion. This is a serious offence.
• Be attentive and active in the game. You will be replaced if you don't post. If something prevents your participation for a long period of time, announce it here or via PM. Help everyone's enjoyment of the game by being active and sending your actions promptly.
• You cannot talk at night. This is a serious offence.
• If you have any questions or doubts, send a private message to both of us and ask for help. It would be much worse to remain unsure about your role, mafia rules, whatever than to ask me.

• If you intend to complain on how this event has been constructed or run... YOU ARE OUT
  
• If you intend to cause trouble and give me a headache....YOU ARE OUT
  
• We will know if you cheat... if you cheat.. YOU ARE OUT
  
• Any attempts to disrupt this event may attract bans for future Events.
• There will be NO warnings issued.
  
• IF YOU ARE OUT... you can EXPECT a Forum and Chat ban for the duration of the event.(To prevent any chance of further destruction of the event.)
  
• Any issues or disputes bought to our attention will be dealt with by us and our word will be final.

To be noted:

• Everyone has some sort of power role, there are no VTs here.
• This is my first attempt at a Mafia setup, so expect some crazy, and somewhat "interwebbing" roles
• This means that all can be as creative as they like with their fake claims.
• Any content of and the receipt of any PM from us is for your eyes only.
  
• The only info from us you are allowed to use in this thread is the Role PM and any night action results.
• It is strictly forbidden to discuss any PM sent from us during this game.
  
• Each role will have a BONUS credit condition, so be careful with what you reveal.. you may be giving someone easy Credits.
• All Credits will be paid out at the end of the game
  

Below is an example of a town role that is not in use:[spoiler=Town Role PM example]
Common Species Name: Sailfish
Water: Salt
Favorite Food: octopus, squid and bony fish
Title: Town Runner
Action:

• As the fastest fish in the world you can outrun any night attacks.
  *This means the only way for you to be defeated is to be lynched or going for your favorite food

BONUS: 500 credits if you can outrun 2 night attacks[/spoiler]
Night time BONUS:
At anytime, anyone can waive their night action and attempt to find their favorite food.
IF you find your favorite food you have a:

• 30% Chance of eating it and gaining 200 CREDITS plus one extra UNIQUE night action, to be used during the next night.
• 50% Chance of missing your prey and looking like a fool (All will know you went for it)
• 20% Chance of becoming a night kill

Success will reward you FAILURE MAY MEAN DEATH. *Can only be won once, attempted many times

Prizes:

• 100 Credits :- For anyone surviving Night 2 with at least 1 daytime lynch
• 150 Credits :- For anyone surviving Night 3 with at least 2 daytime lynches
• 200 Credits :- For anyone surviving Night 4 with at least 3 daytime lynches

+ 500 Credits :- For anyone surviving on the Winning Team
+1200 Credits for MVP, as voted by the Site members at the end of the game.

Climate change is upon us. After yet another season of unusual monsoonal activity, the wetlands have received once again
years worth of rain in the space of a month.

The violent rivers sweep up all life in front of them as they rage towards the coast.
Combining with the high tides and mixing with the ocean currents, Mother Nature is cunning, and the marine life is adapting.
Who once was confined to fresh water can now thrive in the choppy surf.
In one small bay, peaceful and tranquil, the towering cliff face is only out sized by the depth of the water below.
It is on this small reef where the species collide, but co-exist happily.... for a time.

The shadows begin to appear.

First they came from the deep, violent and bloody, then others start appearing from the surface during the early morning sunrise.
Their tentacles pierce the reef and entice the hungry, but are easily discovered by the wise reef inhabitant.
Quickly the reef dwellers learn that the ever increasing night shadows are the ones to avoid.
Seen only on a full moon, they are deadly when travelling across the top of the reef, and indiscriminate with their killing of those seduced.

Dawn breaks, a limp figure is on the reef, closer inspection reveals the Swordfish, lifeless and decaying.
The fastest fish in the world has succumbed to the elements somehow, mutated fins and discoloring scales... this is not natural....

The shadows are not to blame. How is this evil possible in such a magical place?

I would gauge there are 5 bad guys and either 11 town, or 10 town and 1 3rd party.
For the latter, I like a whale shark, which is a filter feeder (eats plankton), not a predator; and, which casts a huge shadow.
Yes, all this from my vantage of ignorance on Day 1.
The mods certainly have a cornucopia to choose from for roles.
There are sailfish, barracudas, etc....various types of fish
Then there are sharks, rays, and skates....elasmobranchs
And, squids, octopuses, and cuttlefish....cephalopods, a type of Mollusc
Then they could go downscale to do sea cucumbers, jellyfish, etc.
Might be hard to assign a town vs scum designation based on the role.
Finally, there are 7 DBD players and 9 non-DBD players, but I doubt that has anything to do with intentions, nefarious or otherwise.
