Out of curiosity, where do you got to the number of 26 premium prize, since only the top 16 get one?

Thanks for joining. 16 Premium prizes and 10 GA medals, so I wrote "26 Premium prizes, GA medals" because the title has limited number of characters so there was not space for adding "and" in between.

It will be 9 Rounds of 512 players but also a play-in round for players exceeding 512. I want to accept everyone interested into the tournament.

how will you accommodate the extra player round? since you decided to seed by score...will you take the most lower score or use the order of joining?

first 512 Seeded play in round 1. If for example 562 players sign up then in play-in round the 50 extra players will play like 463v562, 464v561 etc. So yes, it will be Seeded by score, the same as the whole tournament structure is designated.

I don’t understand the concept to « sacrifice » low ranker to play an extra round while the high ranker will be given a free pass...my belief is to have a cap at 512 players and to use reserve in case you have default player who don’t join, especially if you plan to wait another 2-3 weeks before starting, lots of players will forgot they register.

I thought about this but also with discussion with benga we decided to allow as much as possible players to enter. And as the draw is seeded then low rankers will play an extra round. Positive impact of this would be that these low rankers will have easier shot at winning at least one match, which they would much harder achieve if they are matched with top rankers.

I also thought about dropouts from the tournament. If it happens, They can be replaced by lucky losers from the play in round, so some of the losers might receive additional participation chance.

I am still receiving singups rate of about 20 new players per day so it would be pity to close the tournament at 512 entries when there is obvious more participation interest than that. You know that the best, you also had extended participation cap of your recent Mad's 10th year tournament for the same reason.

yep i do know for sure and not only from my 10th anniversary event, the concern I brought was about the time you think to wait before starting, by experience more players engaged more chance to have player not joining if you wait too long before starting, since you took exemple from my event i extended one more days to gather the last registrants but didn’t wait that long to start because i knew i would have forfeit, which i ended having at round 1 and with only 5 days between the day i posted the event until the day the first game started...you plan on waiting a month span! I’m just trying to help you preventing headache by wanting to reach the sky and ending up going after dozens of members at the start...at the end of the day you are the TO and I’m only a registered player ;)

you keep receiving sign up each day because each day you are posting on dozens of wall only because you decide to go higher and higher...

I opened registration on 26 April and I think I will wait the longest until the end of CC Olympics + several more days, as that event is now the main focus of CC. That would make signups period of about three weeks long.
