NR Farming
It's better late than never, with regards in addressing Farming of New Recruits if the player creating the game is an NR at the time, the 2 or 3 player game is initially created (not started) then it will be unscored - which means whether you win or lose, no points will be given or taken. If you join a waiting NR 2/3 player game, you will not farm him for points. You are there out of your good heart to play a game with the new player.


Stats tabs
The webmaster has made a new STATS section that updates hourly. This gives you further information of how your CC career has been going. This can be seen under the Personal Menu -> Player Stats.

Also under Scoreboard -> Stats Scoreboards. There is a dropdown list where you can check the the top 100 players under the category you have chosen to look at. So if you want to be on the top 100, you better earn as many victories you can!


Beep Update
Browsers have changed the way our beeps have worked before when we wait for our speed game to start. Browsers now require user interaction to enable sounds in this type of context. Previously the sound just worked, but that is no longer possible. I also recommend leaving your tab open and on view as much as possible. A link has been added for you to click on to enable a beep or provide you a notification if your waiting speed game is ready. We hope this helps in getting your alerts when you wait for a speed game to start.

I realize it has always been difficult to regulate the farming of NR's.
Ten years ago I attempted to bring a case against it in C&A, in regards to creating scores of 5-player games that only filled up with NR's. I begrudgingly understood why it was only noted.

Anything that encourages the general populous to engage with NR's and (hopefully) give them a warm welcome to CC is wonderful. As someone who has had strong opinions about farming I have unfortunately not felt I could be a hypocrite and join games created by NR's. I am sure I am not the only one that has avoided it because of the stigma. And that is a shame, as I am sure many of us would be happy to engage with new members, offer any advice we could, and generally be helpful in getting their CC experience started [granted that one can do so without seemingly taking advantage, as is now possible].

I do have one question though regarding tournament wins.

Why are all tournaments counted, even ones with 8 players? These don't even meet the requirements of the tournament handbook. These don't even offer tournament medals. Same for some autotournaments of 16 players and more.

For years I have avoided a lot of these tournaments for these reasons. Now they show up on the wins leaderboard.

for your own stats look on the left menus bar and where it says « Stats », as far the site statistic, look from the scoreboard page, there is a tab for it now

Why are all tournaments counted, even ones with 8 players? These don't even meet the requirements of the tournament handbook. These don't even offer tournament medals. Same for some autotournaments of 16 players and more.

For years I have avoided a lot of these tournaments for these reasons. Now they show up on the wins leaderboard.

I can think of one simple answer for that, the handbook was made before auto tournament ever exist, therefore the handbook exclusively apply to casual tournament.

AT wins also apply for campaigns, so CT and AT cannot be compared.

All spoils variant added, as well as Campaign is now showing separated. 1v1 and Poly are also separated as well.

Please wait for at least an hour and the system to make its own update where number to start showing.

It looks slightly better now as everyone was either updated on the 20th or 21st, but if you look at the stat leaderboards you see that some people are updated on the 20th while others on the 21st. Before mine were updated the last update was on the 16th. Just curious when the stat updates happen and if there is a way to trigger it.
