Ever lost a game, just because of a dice roll?
Or perhaps, because you faced a tough opponent too early into the draw?
What if there were an alternate reality, where those twists of fate... didn't happen?

Well, now's the time for you to find out!


Gameplay

• The tournament is basically two randomised 16-player 1v1 brackets, with the winners of each bracket facing off for the final victory.
• To be clear - all players will be placed in the 2 separate 1v1 brackets ("alternate realities"), and both brackets will have different randomisations (using random.org).
• If the same player manages to win both brackets, the final game is not necessary, and the player automatically wins the tournament.

The game settings for all games will be as follows:

3. If you do not join the game within 48 hours, you will be replaced.
4. If you are know you are not going to be around for a duration of time, please inform me. If the period of time is short enough, I will delay all of your games.
5. Reserves will only be used for Round 1. In Rounds 2 onwards, the player that was defeated by the player who dropped out will be used as the replacement.

Only 1 game has finished so far. You will receive your next games once your game is complete, and the opponent for the matchup has been decided. I'll typically update the 2nd post once the first Round 3 matchup has started.

Update

jricart has booked his berth in the Finals, while b00060 and Rallister13 duke it out for the remaining berth to represent Reality B in the Finals.

If b00060 makes it to the end, he'll be looking to turn around the narrative of Reality A, where he was eliminated in Round 1, and take home the overall win instead. On the other hand, if Rallister13 makes it to the finals, he'll be looking to settle the score with jricart once and for all: they previously met in Round 2 in both realities, with each player winning a game in the different realities.

Either way, it'll be a compelling finish.

b00060 becomes one of the many who have lost early in one reality, and bulldozed through the competition in the other. All this en route to picking up his second win of the tournament series.
