As far as I can tell, this question has not yet been addressed.

I guess a bunch of people joined in the last week whilst I was distracted. Gonna update right now.

You're lucky! I was about to tell you that you're #49 and you'll be first reserve. However, turns out that I had miscounted earlier, so you actually are #48 and take the last slot.

For those who missed it, player list is half-way down Page 2 of the thread.

HERE IS A LINK: https://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewt ... 5#p5173539

Normally one reserves a post or two on Page 1 for this kind of thing, but it's been a while since I ran a large tournament and I forgot...

Anyway, follow the link if you want to see the player list. I also put a link on page 1.

You're right.

Tiebreaker 2 should almost never occur. The only hypothetical instance where it might apply is if you are killed but not eliminated, because your opponent killed the wrong target. In that case, upon reaching Tiebreaker 2, you would have been killed one time more than anyone who hadn't undergone that procedure. A rare situation, to be sure.

Hi Dukasaur, thanks for your understanding of my stupidity!

As requested, posting my resignation from this tournament here (seeing as I signed up to the wrong one by mistake!).

That doesn't mean I'll take it easy on the rest of the game I'm in though. Fully intend to try and win that one!

Yeah, I had to think about it a while, but I think it's logical. ScuD resigned before he won the game, so the elimination doesn't count. If he had won the game first and THEN resigned, I would have let the elimination stand and put in a reserve.

Other eliminations this round are:
Darin44
barterer2002
groovysmurf
Tin Trumpet
farinelli
YouOnKazoo
b00060

What a bloodbath! Some major tournament organizers and some pretty famous players, gone in Phase 1. On to Phase 2 we go!
