An Australian guy got so drunk on vodka he stripped naked, ran out of his hotel, punched the doorman, tried to chase down a passerby, the passerby hopped on a moped to try to flee, the Aussie caught up with him, and punched him out cold.

Locals formed a mob to try to stop the rampage, but he punched out the leader of the mob and then fled. The police finally caught him after he passed out. Meanwhile, the mob were so angry they then tried to burn down the Aussie's hotel.

So, all in all, one of the better behaved Australian tourists.

Interesting that Saxi should post this, Raz...Yep, an Ozzie got drunk...duh! Most news coverage from OS (that's Overseas for non-Australians) has centred on the guy being drunk/naked/Australian....{Hell: Drunk Naked Australians make the World go around!!!} WRT to Original poster here (yes YOU Saxitoxin) it is wise to remember that the alleged drunk/naked Australian punched some local out on Vacation...as opposed to the disturbing and increasing number of US Citizens who have No need to be drunk or naked or on vacation
to show their brand of craziness by travelling no further than a local School and shooting the crap out of innocent kids....I think I'd take the Ozi brand of vodka-fuelled crazy than the US brand based on the society in which they live??? and thus endeth the lesson!!!
