Band of Brothers SUPER CUP - Season 2

WELCOME to the world of CC 'SUPER' Tournaments!

So Called because they are among the LARGEST, MOST FUN Tournaments which contain 'LIVE' Scoreboards, Commentary and HIGHLIGHTS throughout the event!

After a SUCCESSFUL FIRST SEASON of the SUPER CUP with 166 players, we're ready to start the second season.

This Tournament is the SISTER to the MOST SUCCESFUL TOURNEY to ever hit CC! The Band of Brothers Super League.

You DO NOT need to be a player in the LEAGUE to enter the CUP! It will give you a great taste of SUPER LEAGUE RISK and is a great introductory to the CC 'SUPER' Tournament!


But, it's not just for RISK GLORY we fight, there are prizes too!

The PRIZE is HUUUUGE!

Every Season in the Super League, players battle through thick and thin for a 1 in 10 chance of a 3 League SUPER PROMOTION...............

In the SUPER CUP, there is a HHHHUUMMMUUUNNNGGGOUS Prize Boost!

The SUPER CUP offers Players a MMMAAAASSSIIIVVVEEEEE 10 League SUPER-DOOPER PROMOTION!


***If you are a New Player to the world of SUPER LEAGUE RISK and you win this Tournament. You can start in the Super League and use the 10 League Promotion immediately!
***If you are an existing Super League Player, Every Season you will be PROMOTED to the MAX from your current League until all 10 extra Promotions are used up!
***10 League Promotions are from Extra Promotions Spots if Available. Extra Promotions EXPIRE when the following CUP has completed.


The Tournament itself will comprise 2 Phases...........


- A SURVIVAL phase to whittle out the weakest 90% of players in our Ranks...........

- And a KNOCKOUT phase to take us from the 32 Survivors at the end of the Tournament..........

- To 1 CHAMPION of the SUPER CUP



RULES

This is a Round based Tournament where each Round needs to complete before we commence a new Round of Games.
It is also a fast moving Tournament, the SLOWEST MAPS are BANNED to allow steady progression through the Tourney.


SURVIVAL PHASE

Each Round each player will play 3 Games against the same opponent. 1 Game on each of the Players HOME MAP and 1 Game on a RANDOM MAP.

The SOLE OBJECT of the SURVIVAL PHASE is to reach the KO stages. When we get to the KO Phase, POINTS become meaningless! Up to that Phase, Points accumulation will only get you BYE's to get closer to the KO's! But these BYE's become CRUCIAL. Because players will FALL while you automatically advance to the next Round!

The SURVIVAL PHASE continues until ONLY 32 Players....or less SURVIVE!

In season 1, with 166 participants, it took 11 survival rounds before we reached the knock out phase. In season 2, it might take a few extra rounds, because we expect more players to participate!

HOME MAP
- Each entrant selects a HOME MAP at the start of the Tournament. This will remain as your HOME MAP for every Round.
- You accept Game Invites Last - Can move immediately taking full advantage of your opponent not getting any snaps!
- Settings: Auto, Seq, Flat Rate, Adjacent, Foggy, No Round Limit.

AWAY MAP
- This is a Game on your OPPONENTS HOME MAP.
- You accept Game Invites First - Your Opponent can move immediately taking full advantage of you not getting a Snap!
- Settings: Auto, Seq, Flat Rate, Adjacent, Foggy, No Round Limit.

RANDOM MAP
- A Game on a RANDOM MAP (randomly selected each Round from the Maps that are not BANNED).
- It will be SUNNY so both Players will be invited at the same time.
- Settings: Auto, Seq, Flat Rate, Adjacent, Sunny, No Round Limit.

SCORING
- Win 3-0 = 2 Points.
- Win 2-1 = 1 Point.
- Lose 1-2 = Zero Points, but.......You SURVIVE to progress to the next Round.
- Lose 0-3 = TOURNAMENT ELIMINATION regardless of your points total.

BYES
- For every 40 Players set to participate in a SURVIVAL ROUND, The Tournament Leader will receive a BYE in the following Round (excluding Rd 1 Obv).
- For example, if 300 Players progress to Rd 2, there will be 7 BYE's up for Grabs. If only 250 make it, then only 6 BYE's will be up for Grabs.
- You cannot accumulate any points in a Round where you are lucky enough to have a BYE.

ODD MAN BYE
- If this leaves an ODD number of players. An additional BYE is added........The ODD MAN BYE.
- Meaning the next highest player on the Scoreboard also gets a BYE.

TIE-BREAKERS
1. Points
2. Who had most Points in the Previous Round, then in every Previous Round back to Rd 1.
3. Lowest Total Game Duration of All the CURRENT Round Games***
4. Lowest Total Game Duration of the PREVIOUS Round Games***

***All Start Times of Games will be 12:00 CCT on the Match Day Set Up and will be the same for all players. It is this time and not the actual start time of the game that is used to calculate Game Durations.
***Where Games are closed as Predicted Result, Completion time is counted as 23.59 CC Time on the day the Round Ends.


ROUND DRAWS
To determine each players opponents in each Round, After the Players on a BYE have been removed, It will be a RANDOM DRAW between the 'Top Half' and 'Bottom Half' of the remaining players on the Leaderboard.



KNOCKOUT PHASE

- When there are only only 32 SURVIVORS remaining, points are DISCARDED and............we enter the KO PHASE of the Tourney!
- If we move to the KO phase with less than 32 Players, Points will continue to decide who get's Byes in the following Round.
- Points accumulation will be 1 Point for a 1 Match Victory (3-2, 4-3, etc) and 2 Poins for a larger victory (4-1 or 5-0, 5-2 or 6-1 or 7-0, etc)

Lesson 1 in Scottish Slang........PUMPED means SCUDDED!............................... Lesson 2, PUMPED SILLY means SCUDDED 3-0! To understand the HIGHLIGHTS, your going to need to have the 'LIVE' Cup SCOREBOARD Open and Bookmarked: Round 1 is where we cut the Wheat from the Chaff! Top Half of the 264 Entrants (By Ranking) versus the lowest 50% of Entrants by Starting Rank. CUT THROAT! Of the 10 Match Ups completed so Far........... - TOP HALF Players have WON 8 of them! (80%) Lobstrosity 2247 Third Crusade 3 V 0 TDJ-D 1319 San Marino TDJ-D only has himself to blame here. 3 Games, 1 of them on his HOME MAP, he started 2, only needed to win 1/3 Games to progress, he could not win any. I guess the D stands for Dejected, because TDJ-D is the 1st Player to Crash Out of The Cup! When interviewed, TDJ-D said 'Round 1 of The Cup came at the end of a long hard Season for me. The League is where the action is and with a DOUBLE DUNT up to Super League 21, this early exit will allow me to concentrate on another PROMOTION Next Season'........................Wise words from the relative new comer to The Super League........ sdh 2286 All Your Base Are Belong To Us 3 V 0 mpolo 1278 D-Day: Omaha Beach! sdh aka 'Mr Big' puts another Bottom Half Player to the sword! mpolo got unlucky here! 3x2nds in 3 Games. Against a player 1000 Points Higher Ranked, it was always going to be a tough ask for him to come back and win 1. This result means sdh will probably have earned himself a Bye in Round 2, and leaves mpolo still searching for Risk Skills! - BOTTOM HALF Players have won 2 of them (20%) buddhabelly 1904 Arms Race! 1 V 2 DaSpitter 1415 Egypt: Nubia Another Player gets all 3 starts. And this time they go to the BOTTOM HALF Player! But that's the difference, The TOP HALF Player was able to rescue 1 of the 3 Games to avoid an early Exit in The Cup! A 1-2 Scoreline in favour of DaSpitter moves them safely to Round 2. But DaSpitter has a point where as buddhabelly progresses with ZERO points. In Round 2, Top Half and Bottom Half is decided 1st by Points and then by lowest Game Durations. buddhabelly will be starting in the BOTTOM HALF in Rd 2 so could face a difficult Match Up! bamage 2254 2014 World Cup 1 V 2 craigjohn34 1311 New Jersey bamage could not do the damage here! The Premier League Maestro went down 1-2 to craigjohn34 who is starting in Super League 16 next Season! 1st Round SHOCKER! Especially when you consider that bamage STARTED 2 of the 3 Games! WOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFF! bamage off to a terrible start, craigjohn34 earns himself a TOP HALF position in the Draw for Round 2! CCSC: Rd 9 Review / Rd10 Preview As always, you need to view the 'LIVE' Scoreboards for all this to make sense: Round 9 Review: In that Round, we started with 62 Players. We had 1 AUTO-BYE and 1 ODD-MAN BYE so 60 Players competed...............30 Match Ups produced 7 KO's! HIGHEST RANKED Player to go was none other than the 1st Cups RUNNER-UP - Tviorr 'The Tiddler'. His opponent moscorp 'Sports Inc' put 'The Tiddler' in trouble straight away. He went 1st on Tviorr's 'Fortress' City Mogul and managed to take 2 of Tviorr's Territories in Round1. That is un-heard of in that map so it looked like an uo-hill struggle for 'The Tiddler' in that one. In-fact, he was wiped out in 5 Rounds there! moscorp on his HOME MAP of Baltic Crusades again got 1st turn, after he took 2 Territories, 'The Tiddler' failed to card. As a result it only took 8 Rounds for Tviorr to be SCUDDED in that one. And on the Random Map, Tviorr got the dreaded 3 2nds! He was the TOP HALF Player, he came up against General Marshall who was on 5 Points prior to that Round. And the BAD NEWS is, it looks like kevi only has himself to blame! He must have got decent dice because he took 5 Territories. 1st to card was......Kevi...RAINBOW in Rd 6!, GM's could only reply with a set of Reds......How did kevi lose this??? It took only 11 Rounds for GM to grind him down in this one. Clearly GM is a man to be feared when he is Third Crusade! OMG, Kevi also started on his HOME MAP of stalingrad! But the only benefit was he lasted longer before he was Wiped Out, this went 18 Rounds! Kevi went 2nd on the Random Map of Eastern Hemisphere and got off to a decent start. He even carded 1st with a Rainbow, but he was DOOMED to FAIL! ONLY 55 have survived long enough to start in the last Round. 6 more players bit the dust, leaving only 49 Players still standing and chasing down that 10 League Promotion in the League! There are some HUGE Ranks just starting in the League and playing in the cup. Win this and they re propelled to the op Super Leagues Over Night! - bamage '[s]Does the Damage[/s]' was the Highest Ranked Player to fall last Round. Pre-Tournament he was Ranked 2254 and is currently a Premier League RISK Player! But he's been struggling in The Cup. At the start of the Round he had 6 Points and was in the Bottom Half. And he paid the price, he came up against 9th Seed Loose Canon, Ranked 2653 Pre-Tournament. This is a SHOCKER! bamage started ALL 3 Games and still got PUMPED 3-0! Well. enough said, bamage is left to concentrate on his League Campaign, Loose Canon is running hot in the Cup and is posed in the Championship and is looking for a return to the BIG TIME this Season! - Highest Points count to go this Round was phersjm. The 125th Seed had a HUGE 10 Points at the start of the Round and it looked like he had got a favourble draw against the 145th Seed Hansei who in 9 Rounds of CUP RISK had only managed 3 Points! The wheels came off the bus straight away. phersjm only got 1 start. But that was on Stalingrad and if you get a start there, you really should be winning the game. But in Battlefied Stalingrad, if you don't know the Map, it's BRUTAL! And that looked to be the case. Very quickly he submitted with the comment "Gg, this series looked like trouble for me right from the start". As he could not turn around going 2nd in the other 2, he was sent to The Cup's Exit Door. 1 minute he was riding high, the next minute it's Adios Amgio! the Cup Format is BRUTAL! CCSC: Rd11 Review / Rd12 Preview Rd11 Review: As we get to the bisiness end of the Tournament, Rounds start to come thick and fast! We start the KO's when only 32 Players Survive. That is a HUGE CULL from the 256 Runners that started the Tournament! 49 Players started that Round. From 24 Match Ups, another 7 Warriors were sent to the rails! That Leaves 42 Players Alive! Highest Points to go that Round was zissou2 on a HUGE 12 Points. That would have kept him in Joint 4th on the Leaderboard, but alas, you don't win 1/3 Games in The Cup and it's Adios Amigo! He looks to have been desperately unlucky. He came up against 'The Power' aaronvollrath for a start. Ranked 2514 pre-Season aaron was probably the worst possible draw you could have got from bottom half players. Even worse, aaron started on his HOME MAP Forbidden City and cleaned up. He also started on zissou2's HOME MAP Arms Race and it only took him 7 Points there. Another 2nd Turn on the RANDOM Cairns Metro for zissou2 but he looks to have got lucky when he started with a +3 Bonus. He started well, he also held the bonus in Rounds 2 and 3. Actually getting a further +3 Bonus in Round 4. How did he lose this game??? He started to come un-done in Round 5 when aaron cashed a Rainbow and he only had Green's in response. And with that tiny bit of luck, aaron came back and won the game in 12 Rounds. 3x Second Turns but that last one should have been a done deal to keep him playing, but alas, It's Goodnight Vienna for zissou2 The other Players to go that round were: General Marshall - 8 Points ultraman - 6 Points guzmanuk - 6 Points flhusker - 6 Points General Roy - 8 Points plurple - 9 Points Round 12 Preview As I alluded to above, 42 Runners are still standing! That means we still have 1 AUTO-BYE for our Leader. And that goes to our STAND ALONE Leader, clear of the field by 1 point at the Top of the Leaderboard. Bilbo1_OC 'Lord of your Ring' will progress safely to Round 14! You read that right! A 2 Round BYE! See below! As that leaves 41 Players to compete. I do not need the use of a calculator just yet to say there will also be an ODD-MAN BYE! And it's another easy one, in clear 2nd, again 1 point clear of the rest of the field is 'TT' Tin Trumpet. If we go to the KO's next Round, it's a BYE to the KO's. If not, he will probably have another Survival Round to play. Unlukie Bilbo, 2 Points clear of the rest, 1 Point ahead of the ODD-MAN BYE in 2nd, he cannot be replaced at the top of the Leaderboard this round! Tht leaves 40 Players competing in 20 Match Ups. Could we LOSE 10 Players to take us to the KO's, I seriously doubt it. For that to happen, ABSOLUTE CARNAGE would be required! Pick of the Ties are below: Caymanmew 'The Fish' R=3048 1st Seed V Mageplunka69 'The Machine' R=2385 28th Seed All start billing for the 1st Seed. Late starter in the Super League, Caymanmew 'The Fish' is the player that would see most benefit from a CUP WIN. But he get's a tough draw here. Mageplunka69 'The Machine' finds himself in the bottom half, pre-tournament he was Ranked 2385. This is probably a draw that both players would have wanted to avoid at this stage! Loose Canon 'The Big Gun' R=2653 9th Seed 3rdPlaceIn1stCup V akabob2 'Not the real Bob' R=1480 205th Seed WOW! CCSC: Rd 12 Review / Rd 13 Preview Rd 12 Review Well, that Round was nothing short of absolute CARNAGE! With 1 Match up still going on, no fewer than 7 of the 20 Match Ups that took place in that Round led to a player being KO'd from the Tourney. Literally at the penultimate hurdle before the KO Rounds start! That must hurt, playing 12 Rounds of SURVIVOR SERIES RISK to be sent to the rails at almost the last minute. And it doesn't get any tougher than this pair............ middleton R=2392 26th Seed 12Points 0 V 3 Ewebasher R=2037 83rd Seed 9 Points middleton was hovering just behind the leaders of the entire Tournament. Ewebasher was hovering around the Top of the BOTTOM HALF of the Leaderboard. In the 1st game on the RANDOM Quad Cities Map, Ewebasher 'The Google Sheet Tsar' got lucky. Not only did he go 1st, he kicked off with a bonus! As a result, it was over in only 6 Rounds! Ewebasher also got to start on middleton's HOME Map. They took 1 territory each in Rd1 so not a great start, but in Rd2 Ewebasher took 4 of middleton's who clearly feared Ewebasher took a bonus because he replied by taking 2 Neutrals and only 1 of Ewebashers. He was right, he did have a bonus and He did not break it. But middleton had stole a bonus of his own to keep it close. middleton got a further life line with a 3 card Rainbow versus Ewe's 5 card Red Set but, by that point, it was over! Ewe cleared the board in 10 Rounds. It left middleton having to win on Ewe's HOME Map of Wales to SURVIVE. Ouch, Ewebasher got the nod to start again and with the help of a 3 card Blue Set, middleton's Tournament was over in the 7th Round. That is a sore one to take, 3 2nds at this stage. But if you can't come back in 1 outta 3 then it's time to go! This is a cruel, cruel format! middleton heads to the EXIT DOOR, Ewebasher sneaks into the TOP HALF of the Scoreboard! overlander R=2541 14th Seed 11Points 0 V 3 ESQuire R=2324 33rd Seed 9Points Similar standings in this Match Up. The 14th Seed overlander safely in the TOP HALF of the draw, ESQuire hovering around the TOP of the BOTTOM HALF of the Scoreboard. On the RANDOM Quad Cities, ESQuire 'The Skewer' got the start and he punished overlander from the word go. He took 3 Territories and a Bonus which he held versus overlander's 1. overlander got a 3 card Rainbow to extend things but it was not enough. 10 Rounds in, ESQuire wrapped it up. ESQuire also got the start on overlanders HOME Map, on that one overlander failed to card in Round 1, he managed to draw it out over 11 Rounds but he was always fighting a losing battle after the start. OUCH! ESQuire plays a HOME Map where who goes 1st does not really matter (AOR3). But just for good measure he started that one too. It was over in 5 Rounds. A sore one to take for the 14th Seed, but it's Adios Amigo! Other Players who BIT THE DUST in that Round were: vykingsfan64 (7 Points) ScamNL (2 Points) loenatiek (8 Points) gqmecock (10 Points) direwolf (6 Points) VERY UNLUCKY Troops! Rd 13 Preview And this Round is what they call SQUEAKY BUM TIME! From the 256 Players that started the THE CUP.....only 35 SURVIVE! In the 1 Match Up still going on, nobody can get KO'd and the result cannot effect this Rounds Draw so we are good to progress! There are no AUTO-BYES this Round as we are below 40 Players. But luckily for the Tournament Leader there is still the ODD-MAN BYE! No surprise here, but 'Lord of Your Ring' Bilbo1_OC still leads the way on 15 Points. All be it 2 Players have come to join him on the 15 Point mark but Bilbo wins the TIE-BREAKER on the Points Count Back! Craig25 'aka Lex fuc*ing Luthor' and *Pixar* 'The Movie Maker' are the other 2 players on 15 points. When we reach the KO Rounds the points are discarded so for them to become important there would have to be another SURVIVOR Round after this..........And that means LESS than 3 KO's this Round! So 34 Players are required to battle out Round 12. With only 3 KO's required to progress to the KO's, only 18% of the 17 Match Ups need to result in a 3-0 SCORELINE for the KO's to begin. Last Round admittedly was CARNAGE, but to give you an idea, 35% of those Match Ups resulted in a KO so by the looks of things, this is the FINAL SURVIVOR SERIES ROUND! The Draw is CRITICAL Here! But 1st of all, the RANDOM MAP for this Round is......... Peloponnesian War This is a BANNED MAP in the Super League because of the time it takes to play it. But, it can come up as a RANDOM MAP and that is the Map that the Random Number Generator threw out. So get ready, we could be playing this Round until Easter! TOP HALF of the draw are those on 11 Points and above. It's a clean cut for a change! Of the 17 Match Ups being set up, here is the Match Up that is this Rounds 'LIVE' Match, and it is an absolute CRACKER!: Caymanmew R=3048 14Points 1st Seed V LFAW R=2955 8Points 3rd Seed They do not come any bigger than this! 2 MONSTERS of the RISK BOARD started late in the Super League and are working there way through the Lower Leagues. A 10 League PROMOTION for winning The CUP would propel them to the Top Leagues over night. After battling through 12 Rounds of SUPER CUP RISK versus all comers, If this one results in a KO there could be serious damage done to one of their monitors! It will be close, Caymanmew 'The Fish' is the FAV to win it, but can he SCUD LFAW 3-0 to KO him from the Tournament? They have only played each other 6 Times in 2 Player battles, 'The Fish' has won 4 of them............ There are not many games on here where it's like a GUT SHOT when you lose it. But being knocked out like this was an absolute sickner! On Fortress Stalingrad, it was the 'Lower Half' Player sdh who got the start. Round 1 he BOMBS 7 of my Territories immediately, my response, I get 2 of his. Round 2 he takes out ANOTHER 7, my response, ZERO, I am FORCED to take 1 Neutral for a card. Same story Round 3 and it was over! On this one I got the start, but on every Round SDH got the better dice and ground me down, there was very little I could do. But here comes the GUT SHOT! The last game on sdh's HOME MAP which I detest with a passion: All Your bases! I got the start, and it became apparent early doors that I HAD TO WIN IT. But all was fine, my dice were amazing and very quickly I had built a pretty much un-stoppable lead. I am now aware of the 'Cheap Route to Victory' on this Map so it was all cool and the gang. Until 1 HORRIFIC Round, Round 13 funnily enough. My dice were appaling, like losong 20 v 2. I was still good until in response sdh cashes a Rainbow, get's what must have been the most amazing Dice to have ever occured on CC and takes the back door to KO'ing me with 1 Troop left over. Still Gutted and this happened ages ago!!! :D Other Players to also be sent packing at the last possible minute before the KO's were: Wheelwright Rank=2742 5th Seed 12 Points simplyred60 Rank=2017 94th Seed 10 Points LFAW Rank=2955 3rd Seed 8 Points (Clearly a High Ranked Player that struggles V any opponent on any Map) :D Coors1 Rank=1845 126th Seed 4 Points UNLUCKY TROOPS! LAST 32 PREVIEW 30 Players Left, TOP 2 on the Scoreboards get the LAST BYE's of the TOURNAMENT. The other 28 go Head to Head over 14 Match Ups. Egypt: Nubia The 3rd in the Egyptian series from the far upper regions of ancient Egypt, the standard play on this map is based on the old regions surrounding the Nile Cataracts. Paths to and from gold mines that supplied ancient Egypt with this treasure criss-cross the map. The map like the rest of the series features suitable Egyptian design aspects from the region. Total starting territories: 22 The 2 Tournament Leaders are 15th Seed Tin Trumpet on 16 Points who can only BLOW IT now...........and Caymanmew 'The Fish' who is ied in 1st Place also on 16 Points. They are safely into the LAST 16! The ULTIMATE SURVIVOR of the SURVIVOR ROUNDS was akabob2 who in 13 Rounds of CUP RISK only managet to defeat 1 Player 2-1. In EVERY OTHER ROUND he was PUMPED 2-1 but as nobody could put him down, He's in the KO's with an equaly shot at glory! He is up against 153rd Seed MEP in the Last 32! We played a gruelling 13 Round of SURVIVOR RISK.........losing 226 Players in the process............ - In THE CULL of Round 1, we lost 60 Players, the Highest Ranked Player KO'd way back then was 'The Train' Paul Tabinor, Ranked 2466 - In Round 2, we only lost 28 Players, that Round, 11th Seed PereiroSaus was the biggest fish to fall - Round 3 was CARNAGE, 29 Players BIT THE DUST, among them "Up The O's" Keefie - 23 Players headed for the EXIT DOOR in Round 4. The biggest KO in the Tournament up to this point happened.....6th Seed 'Alaka' joshzam - Just the 21 Players fell by the Wayside in Round 5. Puddleglum with a pre-tournament rank of 2407 sent that Round. - In Round 6 only 11 Players were sent to the rails, the biggest, 17th Seed 'The Mexican Bandito' Pajarito - Avi8or 'Was Grounded' in Round 7, along with 13 other Players. Avi8or, usually so consistent was the 4th Seed to take THE CUP! - Round 8 things started to get really tough, only 8 players were KO'd, Ukey was the biggest name heading for the exit door here. And he actually won the Cup quite comfortably. It's been over for a while but there was the 3rd Placed Play Of still going on. But, I'm interested to see how he done it because he was up against a true 'LEGEND of the BOARD' in 'The Skewer' ESQuire. Who, was terribly unlucky to fall at the very final hurdle in this HUMUNGOUS TOURNAMENT! He won't be too disappointed though. He has no need for extra promotion spots, he is in fact in the running to be crowned THIS SEASONS PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPION! He is sitting in 4th only 3 points behind the Leader. But back to the CUP FINAL, here is how it was won:

'Feel The' Heatz HOME MAP was Age Of Realms 2: Magic. And in the 3 Games in the Final he only started 1/3. But when you advance far in The Cup, or, reach the Top Super Leagues, everyone is an EXPERT on their HOME MAP. And Heatz showed his class here. Despite only 1 start, he went on to win 2/3 to take an early lead.

On the RANDOM MAP in the Final, we went to San Francisco. And this is where things got really tough for our eventual CHAMPION. The Runner Up ESQuire started ALL 3 GAMES on the Random Map. With 5/6 starts in the Final so far ESQuire must be wondering how he lost this! Again 'Feel The' heatz showed his class. He managed to LIMIT THE DAMAGE to only a 2-1 LOSS on the RANDOM MAP despite 3xSECONDS! This made the Score 3-3 heading onto ESQuire's HOME MAP which is Age Of Realms 3: Mayhem.

This was indeed the AOR FINAL with both Players opting for these Maps as their HOME MAP. Our CHAMP managed to make a slight come back on the number of starts here. heatz started 2 of the 3 Games here meaning he only got 3 STARTS in the Final and still WON! With 2 Starts, he managed to close the Win out by winning the 2 Games he started to make the FINAL SCORE in the CUP FINAL...........................:

From the starts where ESQuire got 6 of them, to his knowledge of the AOR Maps gained from his OLD MAN, to his advantage of having lived and Studied in the RANDOM MAP San Francisco it was looking like the stars were aligned for ESQuire in the final but it was not to be. heatz takes the GLORY and the 10 League SUPER-DOOPER Promotion!

heatz can already see the benefit in the Super League Tables. Basically he will be PROMOTED the MAXIMUM NUMBER of EXTRA SPOTS available in any 1 Season until he has used up all 10 Promotion Spots, OR, Another Cup Winner tales his place. Currently 3rd Bottom in League 13, he should be looking at being RELEGATED to League 14. But as the NEW CUP WINNER, you will see his 'Next Season' Spot on the 'LIVE' League Tables is actually League 11 so it looks like he could be using up 3 of those PROMOTION spots at the end of the Season (unless someone drops out from much higher in the Super League).

A Special mention also has to go to 'Gin&Tonic makes him Super' SoN!c and 'The Tiger' Handsomewhitecat. They were the losing semi-finalists and fought it out for the KUDOS of having a 3rd Placed finish in the Cup recorded in their Trophy Cabinet until new RUNNERS UP take their place. And this Match Up was tighter than a Badgers Arse, it trully went to the wire! The last Game to finish decided it. Handomewhitecat was winning 4-1 at one stage but SoN!c had a slight advantage in the rest and he did not stumble. He went on to win all 4 of the last games to finish to take the 3rd Place, it finished:

Well Troops, from 256 Cup Entrants, we were down to ONLY 70 still standing at the start of Round 8! 2 Players safely traversed that Round with a Bye (big jumbo) and Odd-Man Bye (Sparrticus). I hope they enjoyed the FREE PASS because both will return to battle in Round 9!

34 Match Ups took place and 8/34 led to KNOCK-OUTS!

To my knowledge I only got one PM which was yesterday to say you were sending out games which I read after I'd seen the invitations and assumed it was a mistake. I have never requested to be in the Super CUP. I wasn't in the first edition and I've checked through the the tounament thread to ensure I hadn't signed up by accident and there is no request from me to join. I love the Super LEAGUE but that is enough for me, I'm sorry to ruin your planning but it was your error that caused this.

The fact that you choose not to read any of the mails on the League and Cup, does not mean they were not sent to you. If you choose to ignore them, there ain't much I can do. They are linked Tournaments, The Cup is now an integral part of it. Optional if you 'Opt Out' but an integral part of it none the less.

There was no error. On every Mail I sent to you on the Super Cup, and there was at least 6, I said specifically 'You have all been auto-entered into the Tournament, if you do not want to pay, just type Opt-Out on the Cup Forum'. In the last mail I sent to you on The Cup, I said 'Apart from a couple of Players who have opted out, all of you are in it'.

The mail you are referring to was Anila's Mail starting the Tournament.

So there was no mistake. I have re-invited you. I don't set up Tourneys for people to waste my time. You have choose to set your own rules on this and not follow the 'Opt Out' Process. I can't run Tourneys with players in them who want to set their own rules. So Play or don't, it's your call.

Missed the action. Tiddler Mogul off to a reasonable start, I think. 2 second turns but doing fairly well in both and its still possible to pull an elimination.

Looking a bit up, I see that Lux has decided to copycat me on Mogul. - Most impolite, I think and its hardly an excuse that you happen to play it better than me.

In other notes, someone decided to tiddle some napalm on the Molespe Stadium. Not sure who would do such a thing

Im sure it would have happened to "Mouth" and "Luthor" s stadium as well, except for the popular expectations that they manage to get evicted in round 1 - again.
