This will be a "Role Madness" game based on "The Tick" cartoon from 1994.
Familiarity with the cartoon is not required, but if you wish to see it, there are episodes on youtube and Hulu.
Notes:
This is my first Mafia setup, but it should feel familiar to anyone who has played Mafia on Conquer Club.
I will be using the MafiaScum website as the primary source of my roles and modding for this game. See this link for a list of possible roles.
Role Madness implies that there will be few to no true Vanilla Townies, and it may include power roles that are modified from the original roles, or new roles designed by the moderator.
The show has a large cast of characters (heroes, villains, and others), so I expect that I can handle as many as want to sign up. The final game design will be determined by the number of players.

[*]Do not edit/delete previous posts. Whatever you post stays in the historical record.
[*]Do not quote any PM's you receive from the moderator or another player. This is a serious offense and could earn you a mod-kill. You may say your name, role, and associated abilities.
[*]Do not discuss the game outside this thread, unless your role specifically says you can.
[*]All ‘votes’ and ‘unvotes’ must be in [/color][b][color=#FF0000]bold, red[/color][/b] letters. If they are not, they will not be tallied. (I.E. [color=#FF0000][b]Vote ScummyMcGoon[/b][/color]).
[*][b][color=#FF00FF]An Unvote is not required[/color][/b] in order to change your vote to someone else. Your most recent vote is what will be counted. Use [b][color=#FF0000]Unvote[/color][/b] if you do not wish to vote for anyone.
[*]Elimination requires a majority of the town vote. The majority is half the players alive +1. Once the majority has been reached, any unvotes will not be counted. If a majority of players vote ‘[b][color=#FF0000]No Lynch[/color][/b]’, the day will end without a death.
[*]Only the moderator may determine when an elimination has occurred.
[*]Lengths of days depend on the moderator. They are indefinite while productive discussion is going on. If the game starts dragging, then a deadline will be imposed.
[*]Lengths of nights depend on the moderator. Sending in night actions as soon as possible is appreciated. Typically, the nights will be 48 hours.
[*]Once your death scene has been posted, the game is over for you. You may no longer post anything related to the game. Whining and **Voices from beyond the grave** are alright, as long as nothing of substance is revealed. This means you can post something like "Damn you mafia!" or "Oh well. Go town!" but you may not add anything to the discussion. This is a serious offense.
[*]Be attentive and active in the game. You will be replaced if you don't post. If something prevents your participation for a long period of time, announce it here or via PM. Help everyone's enjoyment of the game by being active and sending your actions promptly.
[*]You may not post at night. This is a serious offense.

My plan is to have a closed setup with safe-claims provided.
I may use STFU or something similar to determine the final setup.
Some roles will be "nerfed" so that the game is not just about the power roles, and town will have to hunt scum.
There may be some randomness, but I do not intend for this to be a "Bastard" game.
None of this is set in stone yet. I'll still need a few days to get everything nailed down.
