And...it's over!!!

Congratulations to the winners, Team Double Trouble, Bariclaw and Dufus with 151 points. In Round 5, Bariclaw agreed to take over the team that was started by king blaze and pilami, and at a disadvantage; they had just 3 out of 18 possible points for those first four rounds. With the help of Frox333 and then Dufus from Round 27 on, they managed to overcome that disadvantage!

In second place with just 1 point less (150) is Team Bill & Ted, Not So Excellent; originally called Team CKhj, but CaronylKluster asked that I change the name in Round 43. This team pretty much always included CaronylKluster, but ended with Ltrain and 4 U 2 NV finishing out strong for CK!

Third place, with 148 points, is Team Free Shirtless Pics consisting of swimmerdude99 and The_Samurai since the very beginning, an impressive feat by itself.

Fourth place, with 146 points, is Team Stoichiometry which was another of the few teams that never changed throughout the competition, always consisting of Fyrdraca and JPlo64.

So, for prizes, there was just supposed to be a GA medal for the winners in addition to the usual prize. However, this tournament took SIX YEARS to complete! The Clan Department has 7500 credits remaining in our 3rd quarter budget and I have been given permission to issue that in prizes for this event.

I have issued 2500 to both Dufus and Bariclaw for winning, 1000 to both Ltrain and 4 U 2 NV and 250 to both The_Samurai and swimmerdude99. I wish I could do more, truly.

Thanks to all for playing and sticking with it; trust me when I say you weren't the only ones annoyed at times!

Thank you for all the work you did on this, Groovy. And thanks to Caff for coming up with this idea for a tourney, even if it was rather lengthy. And the award of the CC Credits is quite generous!!! I am always thrilled to get some more of that internet money!!!

A special shout-out to my boy, Froxy. He needed to take a break from CC, but he was a wonderful partner for the first half of the tournament and I really enjoyed getting to know him. We hadn't played much together before Caff got us to replace the dingdongs that dropped out and stuck us in the giant hole to start.

But most importantly, I have to give all my love to my CC partner Dufus, who has joined with me to become the CC power couple known as Barfus. And I think he will join me in dedicating this victory to little Barfus McPooptypants.
