I dont think Werewolves (the "board"game) has daychat at all and it's likely balanced for it.

This is true. In The Thing game, I wasn't able to chat with converts until the following evening...
I had one good chat with EW (via CC Inbox) and then said "to heck with it". Each Thing's intuition seemed to work fine alone, without over-strategizing,
...though we did lose, so maybe not.
