Seems very close, but with LHDD getting -1 and ACES getting +1 for the forfeit game, it might be decided by that.

Sorry for the confusion on my part, as Don said, the Eurasia game is the game selected to be forfeited. It is not a finished game so no need to -1 off LHDD, just +1 ACES.

We will remove it from the war now (was planning to do it at closing when we can adjust the score manually) to avoid future confusion. Just remember to +1 to ACES when predicting scores.

Let ACES and LHDD crack on with their war without distractions and quit making work for the CD's.

As an aside, next year can we be on the other side of the bracket to LHDD? I genuinely think that Donche has a button saying 'reveal LFAW's map' because I can't beat the guy
Really ?? Didn't realize that, I need to check our games together...

Do we still have a couple ones together ongoing ? That'd be appreciated then ;) ;)

It’s rare that your on the same side of a bracket two years in a row…me I just usually hate facing S&M (and Josko) in an early round, I suppose it’s asking a lot two years in a row, but maybe someone can make it happen.

It's nto two years in a row. This ACES first particiaption on the CC. We just lost a friendly war vs LHDD earlier this year. But hopefully we now turn this one now

We just had the most absurd dice on important turns so most likely this war is going for the frenchies :(

Could exactly say the same about the luck you needed to sweep USApocalypse; very Nice defense on Prohib Chicago (6vs2 failed to kill pink) or from what I heard a failed kill on Phillie with clear positive odds (something like 17vs2vs11). And a decisive coinflip on WWII (6vs1vs1vs1), all of that just in one day.

Seriously? What element of luck exactly? I can tell you what WAS lucky...both of you landed 3 card sets at a crucial point in the game. It must be gutting for you that I did too, but aside from that you were outplayed and left yourselves divided on the map making our job easier :) It was still a great game though, wp.

what I heard a failed kill on Phillie with clear positive odds (something like 17vs2vs11)
It's not unusual to roll 11-14 against terrs holding 2+. Sure beats me rolling 14-24 against 1s (!!!) in Rail SA.

And FWIW your odds of winning Philly even with an elimination is about 5% ;)

No one said it was "unusual" just that we got bad dice, i.e we had more than 50% chance of succeeding and we didn't.

Seen that said couple of times before that it's human nature to remember more the bad rolls than the good ones.
We know that on more that across 55 games, we both experienced a couple of bad rolls at least.
And, if we win the war, not done yet, then obviously we had some good rolls as well - not going to say otherwise.

Side note: not sure how you come out with the 5%, but I think we can agree that without the elimination, our odds of winning are way less than with it, so it was still a very crucial roll. I'd take a 5% odd of winning it now if I could.

Bruh you’re so delulu it’s funny. You had to split your drop in 3 parts and cross your fingers to get almost impossible rolls to take us out, while all your green terts where connected. Your comment just proves how easily we were outplaying you, thats the frustrating part.
But everybody needs his fair share of luck, I had mine in other games.

Dont know the song, but you got me curious !

That's true, and it's still a 58.something % chance of success (I've read somewhere else a complaint about a 60% attack that had failed, so almost the same situation).

Ahahah no way I was watching it live with my GF even though AA was out, was to afraid to watch someone of his caliber in the finals !!

Dude, you're high. First off, Prosecco is typically fine, though there's a literal ocean of crappy Prosecco out there. And, actually, I mostly only keep it around for Aperol Spritzes and things like that. Champagne, on the other hand, bottoms out at very tasty and goes straight up from there to amazing. If you're stuck on Italian being better than French (I'm not going to bother with your chain despite the fact that I have more French wine in my cellar than any other country). At any rate, if you have to get your bubbles from Italy and are ready to get out of the kiddie pool of Prosecco, try a Franciacorta. It's essentially Italian Champagne. Made with the same grape varietals, using the same process, and aged on the lees before disgorgement.

I'd still rather have Champagne, but at least it's close.

If your idea of a perfect afternoon entails watching the Olympics, drinking alcoholic beverages while scratching our (respective) balls, then for sure I'm your guy !!! :D :D

For what I remember from past discussions, I'll let you enjoy the weightlifting with rockfist though, I'm more into judo or rugby sevens !
